“good place to start tour of Boulder”

We like Homewood Suites. Quality is always consistent. This location was convienent to all the sites to see in Boulder. It is next to a shopping center with a great Indian resturant. It is only about 45 minutes from Denver airport and easily accessible by 470 from airport. Short drive to famous Pearl street where we stumbled on a great Farmers Market with organic and prepared food. Boulder's location at the foothills make it a good introduction to Colorada. The entrance to the hotel was confusing even with our GPS, turn left into the shopping center and take the first left and go behind the left wing of the shopping center. They offer free bikes. Boulder is a great place to bikeride.

Pearl street: for good food and shopping Foot hills drive: for great views

What to pack

If you go in September you need to pack things you can layer and a good pair of walking shoes. Check listings concerning laundry facilities. Love Ridge Condo's in Jackson Hole, Wy had free laundry rooms in the unit . Staybridge Suites near the airport in Denver had free laundry fascilities. This helps cut down on what you need to pack.

“Homewood Suites quite sweet!”

This hotel was very easy to find, even for Boulder-first-timers. We were pleasantly surprised by our room; large living area with kitchenette and separate bedroom. The bathroom was quite dated, but clean and functional. The evening Happy Hour (5.30 - 7.30pm) was an added bonus with complimentary beer, wine and finger food. Breakfast was also included and a wide variety was available. Located next to a mini-mall with supermarket, take-away food and variety shops, this meant that we had everything we needed on hand, even though we were quite a few miles from downtown. Pleasant stay, thank you!

“at home in Boulder”

I usually stay closer to campus since my son is at CU but have not been impressed with the affordable offerings. Homewood Suites was only 3 miles from campus and was so convenient.

“Great value for the cost!”

This is a great hotel with lots of room. The two flat screen tvs, kitchen, well appointed bath, confortable bed are among some of the extras included. A full brakfast buffet was another feature that makes this hotel an outstanding good value.

“Super quiet, great breakfast”

The rooms are very very quiet, comfy beds, immaculate. Loved having a little kitchen. The breakfast was wonderful & if I'd been there on a weekday they would have served us supper. I can't say enough good things about this place. Fabulous!

“The breakfast is not as good as before”

about 3 months ago, I was staying at this hotel, breakfast was nice and everyday they have changed the menu, and most important, the food is fresh..!! This time, breakfast quality was not as good as before, the croissant was rotten, and everyday they serve the same food, and some taste like left over food!!!

“Better Than I Expected”

The room was large, had a fireplace, kitechen area w/dishes and workable. It was very nice, although a little difficult to find as it is tucked in behind an area of shops. But I thought it was great for what I needed. Exceptional breakfast offered for this type of thing.

“Boulder Hotel for kids, parents and grandparents - all in one room!”

Ok, so my 10 year old was bummed that it was too cold to swim in the outdoor pool, but otherwise, this place was a gem. As a mom, we enjoyed our stay with Grandma while we visited relatives nearby. Great staff, great location, windows that ACTUALLY open for AHHH...Fresh air! Decent continental breakfast in hotel lobby (stay away from the powdered eggs), safe, clean and free wi-fi. Close (walking distance) to grocery store, a few restaurants and awesome view of the mountains. Very helpful, nice staff. Will be back!

Boulder. Close to the University of Colorado campus, but not TOO close!
