Full-sized bed & unexpected wake up by cleaningPosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Wallpaper was hilarious
Cons: Big bed and don't wake us up.
Location: Walking distance to a nice area
I signed up for a this hotel - more than $250 in boulder, which seemed a little expensive, but I expected it to be nice. Staff was nice be generally not very skilled at their job - from greeting/parking car to the "fast" appetizer I ordered in the restaurant that took 20 minutes (veggies and hummus) with a $2.50 upcharge for gluten free bread on a $3. app. What really ruined my stay was the full sized bed - definitely not a queen. We were crowded and kept bumping into one another whenever we moved (also the bed was not stable and shook - cheap frame). We were trying to sleep in because we slept so poorly and the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 7:30. Overall horrible exprience.

Great Location, Historic HotelPosted Nov 18, 2014
Good food and very pleasant staff. The Hotel is old but has a charming old world feel. Nice touches in room like local chocolates. The Hotel and Room feel more like a B+B When you walk in the lobby is beautiful. Notice the Wall Safe behind the front desk from a forgotten era. The walkways creak reminding us of the wood still preserved from the early 1900s. So many interesting things to see. Note: Because its an older Hotel the walkways can be a bit cold but the rooms have updated heaters which make the experience really toasty Spruce the restaurant I frequented was the only modern aspect of the Hotel. it had a Farm to Table theme as many Boulder restaurants do. The food was great!! You are 30 seconds walking distance from the finest restaurants, stores and the Pearl Street outdoor mall $10 a day for valet. I do not know if there is public parking

Excellent location!Posted Oct 18, 2014
The Hotel Boulderado is a beautiful historic hotel located right down town near the Pearl Street Mall. The lobby is gorgeous, the staff friendly. I had a room in the newer building. Although the room was nice and clean, it was nothing special as far as decor. The bed had a chenille bedspread that was a bit tatty. That's being a little picky, but the room was over $200 and I expected more.

Well located in town. Colorful, antique decor. Intelligent, courteous staff. Superb, affordable valet service for guests' cars. Very safe neighborhood. Walk to many fine restaurants and small cafes.

Awesome Boulder hotel!Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, decor, valet parking.
Location: Perfectly and conveniently located one block from Pearl Street.
Our son attends the University of Colorado at Boulder, so my wife and I have travelled there for the last four years. This rip was by far the best in no small part to the Hotel Boulderado. The staff was exceptionally courteous and efficient. The hotel overall and the room in particular were outstanding. We particularly liked the convince of the valet parking and the close proximity to Pearl Street. We would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

Great historic hotel close to Pearl St!Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Loved the history and location. Nice views of Flatirons, and excellent proximity to Pearl St.
Cons: Parking is valet only, which is fine, but our car smelled strongly of cigarettes when the valet retrieved it. (I did complain to the valet manager.)
Location: Easy walk (2 blocks) to Pearl St.
We stayed here over a weekend in Oct 2014. Bar and restaurant were excellent, comfy beds, interesting hotel history worth reading about. Parking is valet only (see below for more info on that).

Nice older hotel with great servicePosted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Short walk from Pearl Street Mall. Beautiful decor. Excellent staff.
From the time we checked in until the time we left, the staff was very friendly and helpful. All of the charm of an old hotel is still there while having a lot of modern convenience. It is also just a short walk from a lot of nice shops and restaurants.
