The Hotel Boulderado is a beautiful historic hotel located right down town near the Pearl Street Mall. The lobby is gorgeous, the staff friendly. I had a room in the newer building. Although the room was nice and clean, it was nothing special as far as decor. The bed had a chenille bedspread that was a bit tatty. That's being a little picky, but the room was over $200 and I expected more.

I was attending a concert at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield and did not want to drive back to Fort Collins afterward. I searched Expedia for hotels in the area and this one sounded nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a fantastic restaurant on site, as well as a bar that has more single malt scotchs than most liquor stores. We travel to Denver a lot to go to exhibits at DMNS, DAM, Denver Botanic Gardens and History Colorado. We also sing in a chorale in Denver, so we spend quite a few nights in town. Even though most of the stuff we do is in the Fairfield-Stapleton or Cherry Creek area, we would definitely consider staying Hilltop Inn and Suites and driving to those destinations. We would even come down to have dinner here. My husband joined their "Scotch" club, so I have a feeling we may be coming down and staying over just for that. It was wonderful to look out the room window and see open space, complete with bunnies, instead of asphalt, skyscrapers, and cars. Loved this place!!

We loved our short stay in one of the cottages at Chautauqua Park. Cottage was small but very cute and comfortable. Glad we had A/C in the room since it was in the 90s when we arrived. Opened windows at night though and were comfortable.

The pictures on their website looked really surrene. It was just ok. The shower head needed replacing, the walls were really thin or the other visitors were really noisy. We were there only one night. It did appear to be quiet, but it was right off the highway.
