Nice hotel in Louisville.Posted Jul 9, 2014
I stayed at this hotel while visiting relatives in Superior Co. The room was large and clean. I could easily plug in my various electronic devices. Free WiFi. The staff did cheerfully accomodate my need for foam pillows. Breakfast was pretty basic. The accommodations met my needs.

Expected more professionalism from LaQuintaPosted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: GREAT pool!! GREAT rooms!! GREAT free breakfast and selection!! GREAT cleaning staff. GREAT front desk personnel. GREAT A/C (gets hot there).
Cons: See above-above
Location: Went to the Wildlife Sancturary, good places to eat nearby, located close to COSTCO (gas cheap) and Boulder.
Always wanted to try LaQuinta but two issues HAVE to be addressed by management. Garbage containers at both lobby entrances (you only get one chance at a good first impression) and side door to rooms continued to be full and overflowing for our five night stay. When mentioning it to front desk was told that was responsibility of the maint man who I think has higher issues to take care of instead of trash collection. Lobby entrance trash should be shared with front desk and others as assigned. Likewise for side door entrance where people place pizza boxes, food containers, coke containers etc almost every night. Add bigger and place TWO containers here. The second issue was the inability of the maint man to get our plastic key to work properly during our stay. Don't consider a slight against him as he himself had trouble with his own master key. Additionally, a notice at the side entrance indicates that the door is locked 24/7 for security but NEVER was that door secured to require a plastic key for entrance. Things like these things should not cloud the enjoyment of your patrons and word of mouth can have either favorable or unfavorable reactions especially when they can be easily remedied by management/employee input and resolvement.

Not exactlyPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location is good. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Cons: Pretty much everything.
Location: Location was within walking distance to a number of restaurants, which was nice.
Had to stay a whole week for business. I would not recommend this hotel for such a long stay. There was a tremendous amount of noise from the outside that made it impossible to sleep at night. This was from nearby construction on highway 36. A refrigeration truck parked outside kept me awake another night. The walls and windows offer no sound insulation at all. I could not get the A/C fan to stay on either to reduce the amount of outside noise. The breakfast was not up to par either. The brewed coffee looked like tea and was very weak.

Nice hotel, good valuePosted Jun 21, 2014
The hotel is very nice and is a good value. They were fully booked during the dates of the stay. The staff was friendly for the most part, but lacked professionalism in some cases. The facilities were generally nice. It looked as if there were recent renovations to some areas of the hotel. There were, however, some areas that were not as updated. The hallways on the third level (not sure about the others) were very hot and not air conditioned. The facility also had a lot of lights out at night which made the exterior hard to navigate. The pool was also broken and the staff claimed they did not know how to fix it. The breakfast was minimal but good and the location was convenient. If you do not plan to stay on the hotel property long or are looking for good value, I would recommend. I would stay here again as it was overall a good value and experience.

Great hotel right between Denver and BoulderPosted May 31, 2014
Quiet hotel with very comfortable beds and great service in spite of a 0130 check-in.

Convenient to Boulder, DenverPosted May 28, 2014
Cons: Housekeepers be more diligent when remaking beds.
Location: Boulder, Denver
Quiet (except for those guests who let doors slam). Convenient to Denver Int Airport,, Boulder and downtown Denver. Room was comfortable and bedding was better than expected. Had a room without microwave and fridge but that was ok. Made the room rate less. Only drawback was one day maid did not change sheets that needed to be changed because of an accident. Enjoyed our time there, easy access of US 36. Would recommend this hotel.

No bottle water available for guests when asked. No lotion or shampoo/condition. Towels a little scratchy. It served it's purpose. Next time I'll definitely try to make my hotel reservations earlier so that I have more choices of places to stay. We usually stay in Louisville.

Where the heart isPosted May 3, 2014
Pros: the staff
Cons: the breakfast
Location: Louisville is kind of barren, but Boulder is right nearby, and then beyond that the mountains.
On the last night of my stay, I had been mistaken about my departure time and I needed an extra night. I went to the desk and the woman there immediately knew my room number and got me set up in just a few minutes and then comped me a couple bottles of water. I was a little embarrassed about my mistake, but they held the room for me and made it a very smooth transition.
