Not Worth the Premium
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Location to CU
At one point in time, this was probably a very nice upscale resort hotel but those years are long gone. Although it does appear that the ownership has re-invested some capital into maintenance and renovations, it falls well short of what is needed to demand a premium over other hotels in the area. Most bathroom fixtures appeared original and the television was the old tube type.

Waaaay overpriced
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: Nice bed, good sized room.
Cons: service, price
Location: downtown Boulder: its all good!!!
They lost our reservation (but later found it). Clerk had a lot of attitude about that. Place looks like a dump from the outside, but the back is gorgeous. Romms nice but way overpriced. Other staff we called to help with broken door lock also not very service oriented.

Millennium Harvest House in Boulder is horrible!!
Posted Jan 19, 2013
I thought I was staying at a nice hotel because I paid $188 for 1 night. It was horrible, the hotel has not been updated in 40 years, it was dirty, the walls were literally stained. No mini fridge or anything else to make our room nicer. The women who checked us in (Jessica) was extremely rude and snotty. Worst hotel experience of my life. Do Not Ever Stay here!!

Needs updating and a serious cleaning.

Pros: Plenty of parking and nice entrance. Close to CU, Boulder and other vital location. It was quite and elevator worked at decent speed.
Cons: I'd say everything could be improved or enhance.
Location: close to the CU campus and malls. Good entrance and exit.
We were 2 of 4 days without hot water, while they came as soon as we called, I doubt they didn't already know there was a issue. No hairdryer in the room, we called for one, they asked us to wait and someone would bring it. After 20 minutes and no one showing we called again only to be told it was in our room. It wasn't, so we waited a little longer and finally someone showed up with one. The policy of not changing linens everyday is fine, but not vacuuming and simply throwing covers over sheets without tidying and making it look neat is not "OK". Lighting is very, very, poor in the rooms and bathrooms. Its a long walk to many of the rooms and the entrances that require a key did not consistently work.

Great locations for activity freaks and great town
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Pool and hottub
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Hiking, biking and running base as well as shopping without a car.
Breakfast is mediocre for the price and depnding on your preference better to go elsewhere. Otherwise great location close to village (out of town) shops, with Safeways, Nordstrum Rack, Macys, Apple, Target all within walking distance. Many themed national resturants and coffee houses nearby for eating and drinking. Sprouts, a farmers market store, has great range of food. Good bus links to Pearl Street but hire bikes from the Bikesmith, just outside the hotel turn left, use Boulder Creek cycle path to get downtown, to the prairies and rockies avoiding roads. Great location, off season can be quiet and outside pool, tennis courts probably not available September to May. Recommended as our rate was good in comparison to Denver and the facilities available.

Harvest House Nightmare
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Leaving!
Cons: Having to stay in the room!
Location: Our room had a nice view of the dumpsters, allowing us to view homeless people foraging.
This was by far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Between non-functioning exterior doors, non-functioning bathroom fans, inferior house keeping services and half painted room doors, this hotel experience was truly "dreadful", If this were the only hotel in Boulder, I would advise people to avoid the city. Terrible!

Great for CU parents on a budget
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Great location for CU parents; easy and QUIET.
Cons: Dark shower; poor bathroom lighting.
Great location for CU parents; good value; ask for a room facing the back (mountain view). Quiet, easy to get in and out, no fuss.

Pros: location near CU
Cons: Quality of the room
Location: Close/walking distance from CU
The hotel overall is dated and tired. Needs a major rehab. Bathroom was very small with a useless entryway. Light and extract fan in the bathroom ceiling was not working. Shower curtain rod was straight versus curved for more space. Shower-head was too low for an adult let alone a 6'5" teen. Door to the room does not close automatically-needs to be shut manually or it will be left ajar. Real security issue. Carpets in the hall and stairwell were warn threadbare. Old style tube tv's...inappropriate for the room price. Shade curtain was stained. Restaurant looked like it came from the 60's or 70's at best

Location is good-
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: It is outdated and smells old.
Location: Location is perfect.
I can't rate the staff other than the front desk. They were nice. Did not see or need other services for an over night stay. The only positive about this hotel is location. It's old and outdated and could use a good scrubbing.
