The swimming pool is large, but no indoor hot tub and no steam room.

Perfect for gamedaysPosted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Location to the stadium. Nice clean rooms.
Stayed here as a fan of the visiting team for a Colorado Buffs football game. Perfect location. Just a short 10 minute walk from the back patio of the hotel along the beautiful Boulder Creek right to the stadium. The bar at the hotel does a pre-game tailgate for fans of both teams. After the game I walked down to the Pearl Street Mall for some food and drinks. Not terribly close, but I walked it in about 20 minutes, so not horrible. Could probably catch an inexpensive cab if that sounds too far to walk.

Thought it would be betterPosted Dec 5, 2014
Thought we were going have a balcony and didnt. The bed was far to firm to sleep comfortably and our room was by to the flag pole which rattled all night the old bait and switch for 120 a night, the only redeemable part was the hotel bar and the kind staff.

Fine value for pricePosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Convenient to campus and to Pearl Street shops/restaurants. Very reasonable prices. Clean and comfortable. Restaurants in hotel.
Cons: Fixed price breakfast buffet or "free" with higher room rates.
Room was clean, bed was super comfortable (hard mattress). Nice view from the room. Overall, hotel common areas need updating, as many have mentioned. But price is a factor. If you want higher quality you need to pay for it.

Close to Bouder UniversityPosted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: the size of the room
Cons: The maintenance of the whole hotel the room cleaning service
Location: Conveniente conection to go anywhere
A run down hotel, that has over 300 rooms, so at this time some floors are closed. The front desk people were very nice, but the service people did a poor job claening our room

Lovely Boulder welcomePosted Nov 12, 2014
We were delighted with the friendliness of the staff and the very comfortable bed. However the hotel needs to learn how to make a proper cup of English tea.

Hotel was very awkward to get into west bound.Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Location: Location of hotel, needs bigger sign. Or else, have bushes cut down.
Our room turned out to be on the third floor, the farthest from the front door. Sister, who is disabled, had to walk the entire way, staff could not get us a closer room. Hmmmm! I think they could have.

Short walk to CU campus...but not worth itPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Sunday breakfast at the hotel was better than average.
Cons: What couldn't or shouldn't be improved? Also, how about a lighted sign that allows you to see the hotel from the road at night?
Location: Close walk (~ 4 blocks) to CU's Folsom field.
Simply said..;.the hotel is in great need of updating. The rooms, the lobby, the hallways, the outdoor patio areas and signage. The smallest bathrooms that you have ever seen. The beds and pillows are also in great need of updating. Short walk to the CU campus and Folsom field to catch a game, but not worth it. Next time we visit Boulder, we will not stay at the Harvest House.
