Omni Interlocken, Broomfield

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Great view
Cons: Cleanliness, a little more attention to detail. Our ice bucket was used night #1, we did not receive any new baggies for ice the additional nights.
Location: Lots to do nearby. Great restaurants.
Overall a nice hotel, but is beginning to age. Other local hotels have upgraded their amenities however the Omni has not. Bed is older, sinking towards the middle of the mattress. Bathroom aged, chipped sink potty and shower areas. Headboard and matching desk are showing wear. Not as clean as we had experienced a few years ago. Needs work. We stayed for a romantic weekend getaway. Room not terribly romantic, comparing to other local newer hotels. Costs were high compared to some of the other nearby options. Had to pay for internet. $9.95. Did not realize until it was added to our bill at checkout.

Good, but attention to details could make it great

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Heated outdoor pool! Also, workout facilities, comfortable and spacious lobby, and most of the staff is friendly.
This is the second time we have stayed here in the last month. It seems a bit inconsistent. Some employees are awesome while some are indifferent. Attention to small details like a broken ice machine, dead batteries in the television remote, local teenagers sneaking into the pool, etc. could really make this hotel a four or five star experience. We got a deal price through expedia that made it worth it, but it doesn't seem worth the full regular price.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel - especially at a discounted pre-Xmas rate. The front desk staff were very friendly especially Dante. Bar was very nice but our waitress wasn't very enthusiastic. Overall,a beautiful property.

Comfortable stay

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Very comfortable room, beautiful view of the mountains from our room which we were told was a free room upgrade when checking in. A little noisy one night which I assume was due to the many Christmas parties being held there. Food at the restaurant was good, pricey as to be expected, but tasty. Easy access to stores at the mall. Wish I would have had time for golf and a massage. Twice we had a key stop working which has never happened to me before.

Will stay here again

Very friendly staff. Nicely decorated. There were just a few details they missed- the bed coverlet needed laundering, and the pool area should be looked over more often for leftover towels and trash. The restaurant was very nice too.

Wonderful hotel

Pros: setting and beauty of the hotel
Cons: attention to details, see above
Location: We spent our days in Boulder and there is so much to do, such as hiking, drives, shopping, restaurants etc.
Stayed for 3 days to visit our son at CU Boulder. We were hesitant at first due to the distance into Boulder but it was not a problem at all. It afforded us quite, beauty and peaceful accommodations. I would have considered it a 5 star hotel except that there was some tired furniture, such as the upholstery hanging underneath some benches near the elevators and the bedding seemed to have some fraying. I can be quite picky when staying at hotels so for me to give this a strong 'thumbs up' is unusual. The price was the frosting on the cake. Worth the extra 10 min. drive into Boulder.
