A lovely old Chateau with lots of history where the lovely owners are working hard to keep it all in good condition. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Good local restaurants close by. The onsite restaurant in the old stables was a treat although (as with most places in France) not able to provide something interesting for a vegetarian, even with some notice on what appeared to be a quiet night. Wonderful venue though and great for the meat eaters! We would certainly visit Chateau de Bourron again.

Lovely chateau conveniently near FontainebleauPosted Jul 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Comfortable rooms in an elegant chateau. Well-appointed bath. Good breakfast in a room with antique tapestries Very friendly welcome from the proprietor. The adjacent restaurant was unavailable, but good options in the town.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful chateau. The surrounding area was lush as were the grounds of the chateau. The hosts were very obliging .Lots to do in the surrounding area.

This place is incredible and we had such a delightful stay. The place is beautifully kept and the grounds are maintained really well. It's definitely a place to relax and forget about anything and everything.
