“Cave City Deal”

The hotel was clean. The room smelled clean, not heavily perfumed as if trying to cover some odor. Linens were good quality and changed daily. Shampoos, coffee, etc were replenished daily. Staff was helpful and attentive. The hotel was conveniently located to Mammoth Cave NP and I-65. We loved being able to open the doors onto the patio and sit in the cool evening air. The price was outstanding.

If you are looking for a quick, to the point review here it is...Stay here! Great people, clean rooms, large rooms, great location in the center of cave city and amazingly low price! For a more detailed review......We found this by checking other reviews and we thought that for less than 60 bucks a night we would be in a cramped, less than appealing room-WRONG! The staff was so charming, the room was nice and large, and clean! Furniture a little dated but in excellent condition. Water pressure was great and we got a room by the pool which was very large and very clean. They even had a little wading pool for the itty bitty kids! My one and only complaint was that the mattresses were Super Bouncy :) i like a firmer bed! Bottom line, we will definitely be staying there again and will recommend it to all of our friends and family!

“Mammoth Cave: Not bad at all! Nice Pool!”

Not a bad stay here, but keep in mind that it isn't a 5 star hotel. Good things -Room was clean -There was a Fridge in the room which wasn't in the info which was a nice bonus -Pool was a nice size with a 9 ft deep area. -Good restaurant that is attached to the hotel -Close to Mammoth Cave and many other things Not as good things -breakfast was only small donuts and coffee (free though) -firm spring mattresses Overall, not bad for the price!

“Clean, cheap place to stay...”

I was able to reserve a room here with a double bed for the July, 4th weekend for about half the price of the surrounding hotels. Therefore, we arrived with lowered expectations. It was clean and, best of all, QUIET. Some of these old hotel structures are built nice and solid, so we never heard a sound from the adjoining rooms. The hotel restaurant has good, reasonably priced food, and all the hotel staff was friendly. Our room was just that: a room. No microwave, no fridge, we did have an annoying single-cup coffee pot (in the bathroom... seems wrong to me). But, as I mentioned, we got it real cheap and there are other rooms available here with more frills. Bottom line: If you need a cheap, clean, quiet place to sleep that's convenient to Mammoth Cave, this is your place.

“Good experience!”

The room is prettey big, new and clean with pool view. Quite close to Mammoth Cave. With lots of restaurants within walking distance. And there are also 3 gas stations. Very good for the tourist of Mammoth Cave. The address of the hotel is little bit misleading. We cannot locate the address in GPS. It is just located on the junction of Highway 90, Highway 70 and Interstate-65.

We really did not find much fault in the hotel. Like all things, they will age, some old fashioned repairs would help a lot, but other than that, the stafff was really helpful, the pool was really clean, there were NO bugs so that was a major plus!

The other reviews here are *dead on* accurate --- agree with 99% of the other reviews. This hotel is older but definitely a lot cleaner than some supposedly 4-stars I've stayed in. Staff was wonderful in accommodating my request to have no one loud nearby over the New Year's Eve/Day weekend (which was almost silent) while I manically studied for a huge exam the following day in Bowling Green (easier to simply stay the weekend away from a loud household). MUCH cheaper than anything else around Bowling Green! My only real issue was that the bed was pretty firm, very firm in fact. Be aware this is not a even a 4-star but you get what you pay for: this room suited my needs for 3 nights just fine. Should I ever be up that way again, I would more than likely book another room at this hotel for the value alone.

“Good place for the price”

The lady at the front desk was very considerate....she noticed our party had kids & she gave us a room by the pool. Room was clean. Great restaurants within walking distance. The one thing different about this reservation than others I've booked with Expedia is the room wasn't paid in full upon check-in. Expedia reservation only held the room, not book it. Which was fine, no big deal. We discovered a little treasure cave tour, it's a little out of the way, but worth it. It's in Munsfordville (sp), called Cub Run Cave.
