“Cave City Best Western”

The room had an unpleasant odor. It was adequate for the time we spent there but was not a very comfortable experience.

“Adequate”

Used this place as a base camp for my travels to Mammoth Cave National Park. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. WiFi was free, which was also a plus. That's about all I need. The heater did take a while to warm up the room--it wasn't terribly cold outside, but I like it toasty. I did not try the complimentary breakfast and the pool is closed at this time of year, so I cannot comment on either of those. Overall, I had no complaints and would stay there again.

“Nice place”

The location of the hotel was very good, close to Mammoth Caves. The hotel was nice, nothing fancy, but clean. The pool was very warm and inviting. There was a hot tub but it was too hot to even consider this July! The breakfast could have been a bit more, although we got there toward the end of the time. However, things were emptied and were not re-filled. Overall, especially in the Mammoth Cave location, this was a nice place to stay. We would consider staying again.

“Great Location for Mammoth Cave Visitors”

NIce motel overall. LIked the outdoor hot tub. Outdoor pool was very warm and not so refreshing....but I guess that's because it was 100 degrees in July. Free breakfast was a plus.

The hotel was very relaxing. The breakfast could use some improvement. Very helpfull staff. I would definately stay there again.

“Return stay”

We have stayed in this hotel two times before. Liked service, convenience and ammenities. This time the room smelled bad upon entry. Floor was also dirty between beds and bedspreads not clean. Air conditioner was very noisy. Breakfast was very good and well maintained. Staff was friendly.

“good for a short stay”

We visited the Mammoth caves, coming back from South Carolina. We only stayed a night and the room was clean and decent. We would definitely use Best Western again for the price and maybe one or two night stays....

“Warm and clean, good location.”

When I arrived, I had hot water at the sink but not in the shower/tub, which I thought was strange, but thought maybe hot water was used by 9 p.m. In morning, no hot water in shower/tub after running water awhile. Called front desk and manager came to door, but could not do anything, said water heater was for entire building and it was working. When I checked out, I asked for compensation and he offered $5 off, but I said I came to rest and shower and was not able to shower, so I wanted more off the cost of the room.He agreed to reduce my bill by $10. Also, the continental breakfast ended at 9 a.m. which I thought was a little early. I checked out at 9:05 and it was closed.

“Indiana Jones”

Stayed for two nights. Outside of a mix up in the bed situation, and uncomrortable beds, the room was fine. Very clean, courteous staff, good location, and somewhat good breakfast.
