Clean Nice as Expected

I try to stay in the one hundred dollar range for the best on the road. I find that the bargain rates places in the fifty to seventy range usually have few pillows or need renovation or have old small bathrooms or some other problems. No disappointment here - everything was perfect.

Close to Mammoth Cave

Nice hotel for a short stay! Rooms are small but manageable. Breakfast room is way to small but breakfast is good. A little over priced for the size of the rooms and because there is not many places to sit for breakfast in the mornings.

Great Stay!

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Hot tub, pool, clean rooms, price
Location: Mammoth Cave National Park was extremely fun, and Mammoth Cave Canoe and Kayaking was the outfitter we used for canoeing the Green river.
We stayed here in order to enjoy Mammoth Cave. It was a very clean, neat, and orderly motel. The rooms were recently remodeled and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were used each night. We loved our visit!

Pros: Location, especially for visiting the caves.
Cons: The area for breakfast fits about 2 tables (for 4 people) - the crammed 1 or 2 more tables. It was not enough space for the breakfast rush.
Location: Caves and caves and caves.
It was in a convenient place. The lady who worked the counter was not friendly - at all.

Good location near Mammoth Cave; a few issues

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good, and there was a very nice gazebo in the courtyard.
Cons: Staying on top of insect problems, and maintenance of air conditioning.
Location: Very close to Dino World, Kentucky Down Under and Mammoth Caves.
The staff was nice and friendly. We did have a problem with ants in our room though. They came and sprayed after we checked in and discovered them, but that was it. We did not feel comfortable using the dresser as that seemed to be the location of the ants. There was also a musty smell from the air conditioning.
