Cons: Update rooms cleanliness
Location: great location near everything
So the hotel is pretty clean but the rooms are a little old and could be a little cleaner. The pool was also clean only problem we had was we thought they should have more than one table with an umbrella. The shower head didnt work properly so in the morning we told the front desk and maintenance had it fixed with new one in fifteen minutes that was cool.Breakfast was typicall continentall.I dont know if I would recommend to a friend but I might stay again because of price.

Better than the reviews suggestPosted Jun 8, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, location, breakfast; staff was very friendly and eager to help.
Cons: The wifi router is totally crap. I don't think it is strong enough to give a decent connection in any of the rooms.
Location: It's in Cave City. This is a hotel for people going to Mammoth. (If you're going to Mammoth, be aware: only the high-capacity tours are running.)
Check-in went smoothly and was uneventful. Room was well cleaned. Shower had enough pressure and worked fine; no shortage of hot water. (My girlfriend took an hour long steaming hot shower and there was still plenty left for me.) The TV had a good selection of channels - enough that we found something we enjoyed watching whenever we looked, at least. The pool was very clean and had an appropriate amount of chemical treatment (I could tell that it was chlorinated, but it didn't make my eyes burn or anything) The only two negative things worth noting were: First, the pool chairs were kind of dirty. Wiping them down with a rag would be plenty; I think management just hadn't gotten to it since the season started. Second, the wifi might as well have not existed. I was reasonably close to the office, and I just -barely- had enough signal that I could log in and have ~45 seconds of GoogleMaps access before it went out and stayed out. My girlfriend could not connect at all. (I was using a Samsung Chromebook; she was using a Macbook Air, so both of us had good networking technology... their router is just bad.) That said, they did have an internet-connected computer available in the main office if I really needed web access. The continental breakfast was muffins, cereal (two varieties), danishes, little frozen sausage buns, milk (2% and whole), orange and apple juice, coffee, english muffins, bagels and bread with the normal assortment of jams, etc.

Definitely an option.Posted Jun 2, 2013
Cons: Breakfast is not all its cracked up to be.
Location: Close to Mammoth Cave
Nice hotel for a lower priced option. Rooms have been maintained reasonably well, and its location close to Mammoth Cave is a big plus. Staff was friendly at check-in, but other than that had no reason to contact them.

Not a great hotel to stay even for a nightPosted May 28, 2013
One would expect the cleanliness level to be better for the money that is being charged. The king size bed is actually a queen bed.

Firm bed, but weak breakfast coffeePosted May 28, 2013
Pros: firm bed
Cons: room was not ready when checked in
when I checked in at 3:45pm, the room was not cleaned. Asked the manager (?) and he said... we are so busy today. .wait.. .wait. Finally, it was cleaned 30 mins later. Other this problem, this was not so bad other than hot-water-like coffee.

I was not satisfied at all with my stay. The room was cheap looking, the sheets on the bed looked old and stained. The bathroom was small and dirty. Since I couldn't get a refund I had to stay. I was not pleased with anything. The picture on the website doesn't look anything like the place. The cleaning crew didn't understandanything that I was saying.

Not impressedPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We checked in late while traveling across the country. The person who checked us in spoke little English and did not understand the questions we were asking about the room. Questions such as, is it a smoking or non-smoking room? is it a pet free room? The room itself had dirty stained sheets and the bathroom toilet had not been cleaned. I would not stay here again, even for just a few hours of sleep.

Surprisingly nice!Posted Apr 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was not sure what to expect... Booked same day during spring break. The facility looks like an old Holiday Inn. Check in was quick, desk representative was efficient. Room was clean and reasonably up to date. Bed was comfortable and linens including bed spread seemed clean.

For u we didn't have any other choicePosted Apr 8, 2013
About what you would expect. We booked this late night so we were quite tired when we arrived. Suited us well for an over night but certainly nothing to write home about.
