Hotel is getting a little tired...Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Great location close to the interstate, downtown, and WKU
Cons: Needs a coat of paint, some carpet, and a refresh of worn fixtures and finishes
Nice, dependable place to stay, but things are starting to get worn... The fixtures in the bathroom were all a little wobbly, light switches on lamps didn't turn anymore, etc... My room was definitely in need of a refresh

Good Dog-Friendly HotelPosted Nov 26, 2013
This was the perfect place to stopover during a multi-day drive. They, further, both love and welcome dogs, hence my choice for the night.

Nice Convention HotelPosted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Proximity to convention center
Cons: Bathtubs need replacing or updating
Location: Not much within walking distance; few miles from a mall and lots of restaurants
My first impression was that this Holiday Inn must have been an Embassy Suites in its former life. The atrium with open hallways overlooking it, complete with a waterfall, are classic Embassy Suites styling. But my room was not a suite, just a regular king room, although it was comfortable and fine for a short business stay. My only complaint about the room is that the bathtub is very old and shows it. The open area in the atrium which would be the free reception/breakfast area in an Embassy Suites was neither here - there was no manager's reception, nor any free breakfast. The hotel does have a cafe-style restaurant, and a cozy little bar which serves food. That's good, because there is very little, other than a couple hotels, within walking distance. The hotel connects to the convention center, so is very convenient for attending conferences there. The staff were all polite and helpful, although housekeeping tried to enter my room at 9 a.m. with no more than a cursory knock first. I had the latch on the door, preventing it from opening all the way, and the housekeeper literally turned and ran down the hall, without even apologizing or saying, "Excuse me." Still, overall it is a nice hotel for a business stay, and I would stay here again.

It was very comfortable room.Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: Interior and cool air.
Cons: bath water flow was little slow.
Location: Many restaurants are located in within 1 to 2 mile ranges. Also, Golf place was just behind of the hotel.
I stayed for three nights, and it was second visit. I feel very comfortable with nice water fall interior.
