Nice, clean hotel, newly updated. Bad beds!Posted Jul 19, 2015
Cons: I can't stay again due to hard mattresses, but if not for that I'd sure like to.
Location: Very near to Mammoth Cave National Park, which was just excellent, but the Cave City area which is where we stayed seemed very depressed and run down.
Nice hotel, very friendly, and overall very comfortable and clean. Bed was hard as a rock, however. I feel that hotel mattresses should be midway between soft and firm to best accommodate the most people. Thei mattress in our king room was extremely firm and very uncomfortable for me. Bedding was nice with plenty of pillows. Just couldn't handle sleeping on bricks. Complimentary breakfast was a full breakfast bar and was very nice for being all you cared to eat at no cost.

Very Nice hotel close to mammoth cavePosted Jul 6, 2015
We had a night stay in the hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Even though the rates are a little high, it is worth the money if you are not looking for anything extravagant

Great locationPosted Jul 5, 2015
We were visiting Mammoth Cave the following day. Hotel is minutes from the cave. Hotel staff were very nice and recommended a great restaurant for dinner.

Mammoth Cave Tour & Horseback RidingPosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Easy to book room, clean, well cared for facility.
Cons: Breakfast was not good. Coffee stale. Had better quality free breakfasts elsewhere.
Location: Alpine slide, horseback riding, cave tours. A lot of businesses closed presumably due to 2008 economy collapse. Best place to eat is Cracker Barrel!
Very, very clean hotel. Beds were great --- not lumpy! Everything new and well cared for. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to activities.

Quick Stay but NicePosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed and fine breakfast
Cons: The fan on the A/C was loud coming on during the night. I should had switched it to continuous fan, but did not see that button until morning.
Location: Just was passing through, but there seemed to be things related to the caves (tourist things) nearby.
Basically just slept at Sleep Inn & Suites and had breakfast, but it was very comfortable. The bed was nice and the breakfast included both hot and cold items (I had sausage and eggs and orange juice). Based on the choices I read about, this seemed to be the best option at Cave City and I would stay at Sleep Inn & Suites again, if passing through some time in the future.

Family FriendlyPosted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Location, comfort, amenities.
Cons: Water pressure
Location: Mammoth Cave National Park
This hotel was a great find in a little city. The facility appeared to be new and the overall condition of the hotel was great. The pool was a little small, but perfect for a couple of families to work off a day of travel. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. If I had to complain about something it would be the water pressure in the shower. It was low, but we all got clean at the end of the day, so it worked out. My husband, my two boys and I stayed for two nights while we toured Mammoth Cave. We had a great trip and the hotel was a big part of that.

Good and Bad PointsPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The clean rooms, staff and location from local activities.
Cons: The pool size and the chlorination of the pool.
Location: Kentucky Down Under; Dinosaur World, Gun/FunTown Mnt, Caves, Canoeing, Zip Lining, Horseback Riding, Bumper Boats/Cars and an Alpine Slide!
The Good: The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very helpful and polite. Great location if you are going to any of the cave tours, horse back riding, zip lining or any of the fun stuff to do in that area (Alpine Slide up the road was awesome!). The Bad: The pool is extremely small (7.5 ft x 22ft) and was overly chlorinated. There were 6 people in the pool and we could not easily move around. If you have a child that suffers sensory issues be aware that the bathroom light/fan is on one switch (for those of you that don't have kids with sensory issues you think I am crazy ... for those of you that do you understand completely). If your room is at the end of the hall you will hear the ice machine continually going off during the night. The wifi took a good 10 minutes to connect and if you stopped using it for 5 minutes you would have to again wait 10 minutes to reconnect.

Very nice hotel close to everything.Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: The hotel was newer and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful .
Cons: The pool was too small unless you were alone in it.
Location: The hotel was close to everything that we planned to visit. It had several good places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotel was newer and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful . It was close to everything things that we had wanted to visit during our stay. The rooms were very clean and had up to date furnishings. Only down side was the small pool, but it did have a work out room and game room. The free breakfast was great too!
