Super 8 Franklin Hwy 31

WE reserved a first floor king room. After a very long trip (highway accidents0 we arrived at the hotel to find that they did not have any king rooms available on the first floor. My husband cannot do stairs, I was upset and the manager was very rude.Tellin us that the first mistake we made was book ing the room through hotels.com. We took a Queen room on the !st floor. The room was in need of updating, the sink was clogged and badly stained, the coffee maker did not work and the beds were unconfortable. The next day we were given a king room on the other side of the hotel that was nice. Needless to say after being treated the way we were I will never stay here again.

Everything was just as I wished. I made the reservation late since we were on our way back from Florida and didn't know where we would be when it was time to rest. This fit the bill perfectly. The early breakfast, at 6:30 AM was great.

Motel needs serious updating. Furniture in room is very out dated and flimsy,needs new bed mattreses. TV is the old "bubble"type.

Beds were first-rate. We slept soundly. Little, if any noise. Plenty of hot water and nicely kept room appearance. Heat worked just fine. Continental breakfast was better than adequate and Waffle House is next door, Denny's just the other side of the overpass. I will definitely book here when I come to visit again in the spring.

The barking dog in the next room was bothersome. The clerk said all he could do was ask the guest to try to keep it down. Pool was not open even though their sign states "pool & hbo". An April review also said pool wasn't working. For the price as an overnight traveler I'd stay again. But I wouldn't stay for an extended period.

It was clean enough and exactly what we needed - just a bed to crash in and a shower before getting back on the road in the morning. It was easy to find, the guy at the front desk was nice enough. Quite acceptable.
