Inflexible cancellation policy

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: More flexible policy regarding cancelling a reservation.
I had booked two nights at the hotel. However, I completed my business early and asked to cancel the second night. The hotel was unable to honor my request. I was billed for two nights.

Basic hotel, nicely located

Posted Jan 26, 2015 on Hotels.com
This is a typical conference/event type hotel right off the main route around Boston, so it is very convenient. I enjoyed walking around the very large parking lots and the access road to get some outdoor exercise. The staff was friendly and helpful, and although others have complained about the restaurant food, we found it just fine if you aren't looking for gourmet - the burger was especially good. The breakfast buffet at $11.95 is fine with many hot and cold choices, however they didn't tell us that on Sunday mornings the price goes up to $15.95 because of the omelet station. Had we known we would have ordered off the menu. The only complaint I have is that bags of garbage are left in the hallways overnight when the staff is through cleaning the rooms. I cannot think of a good reason for this and it was just upsetting to see.

When a great hotel goes Bad!

Posted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
The front desk staff was very unwelcoming upon our arrival. We asked if it was possible to upgrade to a suite and they were rude about it. Said there weren't any clean and it was going to be a slow weekend. When we went to the restaurant at 7 for dinner, we were given the late night menu and told they would only be serving for another 45 minutes. We asked if we could have items off the regular menu as it was well before 10 and were told no. One of our party has a food allergy and alerted the waitress to this, but was still served food that contained the items she specifically said she was allergic to. We waited at least 15 minutes for the one waitress who was serving at least six tables and the bar to even ask us about drinks. We were going to the pool after dinner, but were told there were no clean towels for us to use and that 4 of us could use the one towel that was in our room. I did call down for a blanket at about 10pm and the security guard brought it to my room. The next morning they didn't have the breakfast buffet and again there was one waitress for the entire restaurant. She was great. She told us that they didn't intend the weekend to be as busy as it turned out to be.
