Location Is Everything

Posted Dec 26, 2014
For the money this is a great stay. The staff was friendly. The location is perfect for almost anything in Bozeman. The hotel was under some renovation while we stayed there but it didnt take away from our enjoyment. The fixtures and decor are a little tired but for thw money I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Near MSU and downtown. Right by the Co-op
We stayed two nights. Walked to dinner in the snow!

Throw back to an earlier era

It took me back to the days of motor inns. Downtown bozeman and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Loved it.

Old school charm

Close to downtown, kitschy, and somewhat outdated. The sliding glass door entry was a little weird.

Nice motel easy walking distance to downtown

Posted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: Central location. Comfortable bed
Cons: They have a good Continental breakfast, but I would like to have coffee supplied in the room
Location: Two blocks from downtown Bozeman. Seven blocks from the University of Montana
I enjoyed my stay. Lewis and Clark is centrally located. Easy walk distance to downtown Bozeman or Montana State Univeristy. Very nice accomodiations and comfortable beds. The staff is professional. I highly recommended The Lewis and Clark.

Fantastically Funky Wonderful place!!

Posted Oct 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place might not suit everyones taste but my mother and I loved it ! The staff was great. The lobby is funky retro, the elevator is straight out of a 20's Fab Manhatten Hotel. The room is pretty basic but clean and quiet. Has fridge and micro. The breakfast was light but I loved the yogurt with FRESH cut fruit. Bought some funky earrings too. I would certainly return.

Don't let the rooms' sliding glass doors entries turn you off. Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable.

quiet and convenient

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Pool & indoor spa; especially that they are open late.
Cons: Clearer signage directing guests to main lobby from Hwy 93 entrance.
Location: Within walkable distance to a good selection of restaurants & stores, as well as the Falls overlook.
The staff and facilities at this hotel are both to be recommended. I had a trouble-free stay, a good night's rest, and a well-stocked breakfast. The neighborhood feels safe, and the hotel secure.

I was very pleased. Friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean and comfortable room and home made banana bread for breakfast.
