“Lewis & Clark: A Great Discovery!”

Needed a clean, nothing fancy place for a week while visiting a young relative during Spring Break for skiing, hiking, biking, exploring, relaxing, etc. A healthy break from the Noth' East.. This hotel was perfectly located. Next door to an excellent Food Co-op/Eatery (eat your heart out Whole Foods) and walking distance to downtown. The 3rd floor room had a great view of mountain range, sky, sunrise, etc. The hotel had all the amenities and friendliness anyone would need at a very reasonable rate.

“Will go back next time I am in Bozeman”

Older motel, extremely helpful, friendly staff.....warm Montana welcome ...provided everything I needed for my stay in Bozeman. Simple and clean place to stay...quiet area, secure facility, well maintained...smiles were abundant.

“Main Street Comfort”

I've driven by this motel for many years, because it's usually full. I happened upon it early enough in the season this year to find a room at an excellent weekend rate. Its glory is a bit faded. There is no longer a full service restaurant on the second floor (though a good continental breakfast is provided), and the elevator is not functional. If you have trouble with steps, request a first-floor room or look elsewhere. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the glass front offers a good view of the mountains to the north. You're also within walking distance to downtown and several fine restaurants and coffee shops. Hiking up to the second floor room with a loaded suitcase was a bit of a trek, but the price was right. I'd return for a room at the same rate.

“Nice”

My stay was enjoyable. The lobby was quite welcoming with coffee, hot cider, cookies and several other amenities. The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean. The only downside was the entrance door. It was a heavy duty sliding door. I would have felt more comfortable with a regular door with lock.

“A gem off of the chain of normal hotels”

This hotel has unique and homey features that just aren't expected in hotels of this range from: doilies in the rooms, small in-room reading collections, wrought iron fixtures. A significant assortment of activities and check-out items are in the lobby. The Bozeman location itself isn't bad per se, but we were using this hotel for going to Yellowstone, NP a significant commute.

“A hidden gem”

What a surprise to see an older motel reworked with hardwood floors, jazz music, and a beautiful inviting lobby. We had a room on the ground floor, which was very convenient. Our family of four enjoyed the evening playing a card game in the main lobby at a lovely wood table and padded chairs surrounded by antiques and home baked goodies. The kids availed themselves of free lemonade and ginger cookies, while I bought a small bottle of wine from the front desk, and my husband dashed across the street for a quick night cap. The free breakfast didn't have any protein (eggs, etc.), so we grabbed some of the homemade banana bread to go and went to McDonalds for eggs and sausage. The hotel is very convenient to a supermarket across the street.

“Would love to stay here again”

Very happy with this hotel. I had a booked a room w/1 queen bed for us (me & my daughter); when we got into our room, there were 2 queen beds! And the rate was the same. The staff was very nice & helpful; the room was clean; loved the decor. Would definitely recommend this to everyone. To top it all off, it was the cheapest rate listed for Bozeman!

“Nostalgic and wonderful...”

We had a wonderful time in Bozeman and our hotel stay at the Lewis and Clark contributed greatly. A close walk to the historic downtown area, a wonderful lobby area, and excellent breakfast offering made it a great place to stay. We normally stay at large chains but we are so glad we chose to stay at a local hotel that offered personable service and easy access to the downtown shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. We would highly recommend this older hotel with an atmosphere of beloved days gone by...
