Great hotel in BradentonPosted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and excellent customer service
Cons: Make the pool more private, in front of the hotel by the parking lot. Very noisy, would be nice if there was a fence or hedges.
Location: Cedar Reef Fish Camp had excellent service and food, Chickadees for breakfast, Gecko's sports style pub (all a short walk and do take out also).
Annual March long weekend in Bradenton - stayed here a few years prior but last year tried another hotel and decided this year to come back to this one. Five star customer service - extremely friendly and sincere when it came to check in, check out or information about the hotel or area. Rooms were extremely clean, housekeeping was superb, beds very comfortable. Did not do the buffet breakfast due to the crowd of a busy spring break weekend (Bob Evans and Chickadees nearby) so cannot give feedback on the breakfast food. For the reasonable per night price this hotel was wonderful and will stick to this one for our future annual trips!

Pros: Nothing special - - rather average
Cons: Price reduction for the room offered.
way to expensive - - $230/night - - - for a rather basic room. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Bed sheets were not changed on one of the beds one night.

Clean hotel, close to highway.Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: It was convenient to the highway and was clean.
Cons: The staff and/or hotel be more guest friendly. An extra piece of paper here and there, coupon to local eatery for delays, etc...
Upon arriving at the 3PM check, I was told our room was not ready yet. It would be another 20 minutes. After traveling 20 hours and reserving the room a month ago, I was less than thrilled. Meanwhile, a traveler walked in and was given an available room immediately. However, the room service did get it together quickly. I used the business center to print my boarding passes for my family and was told I can only have 3 pieces of paper at no charge. The 4th page I needed was going to cost me....I managed with 3. I guess $400 for two nights just isn't enough to cover 4 pieces of paper? The 'free breakfast' was not even close to one of the other hotels 'free breakfast'. Very tasteless. Oh, the TV remote had to be held up in the air and even with the TV to work properly. Overall, the hotel is fine. Their policy and planning is not. I have stayed at other Country Inn's and was happy...

It was goodPosted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: the hotel was located near all our activaties.
Cons: Breakfast and the bed making
Location: Well we were there for golfing and there was plenty of food places near by.
We were pleased with the hotel but not impressed with the Breakfast. And the cleaning crew didn't do to well with the bed making looks like they just flipped the covers back on the bed.

Nice, but costly hotelPosted Feb 24, 2015
Paying over $500 for two days was way too much, when the nearest beach was over 15 miles from the hotel. We had to drive a good distance to go places, except for an eatery nearby.

Enjoyed our stayPosted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: friendly and courteous staff
Cons: just small things, like the door not closing properly, slow drain, discolored grout which made it look dirty.
Location: It was a little far from the beaches, which is really why we came to that area. Fairly close to the airport, though.
The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, but not immaculate if you really took a close look. Some of the grout in bathroom around the corners was rather unsightly. The door would not latch unless you pulled it hard when leaving or pushed it hard when coming back. One of the room keys stopped working on our door but would still work on the business center door. Beds were really pretty hard. There was a slow drain in the bathroom sink. The breakfast was pretty good, had a nice variety...waffles, pastries, muffins, cereal, eggs, sausage, juice, fruit...biscuits were hard and dry...yuck! Overall, it was enjoyable and I would certainly consider another stay. I wish it had been closer to the beach.
