“Felt like home”

Although the bed was a little more firm than I like, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was simple - pastries, juice, coffee, toast and cold cereal but it was free. Some of my co-workers had cereal at night when we were done and I don't think anything was said. They were close to lots of things - gas station, liquor store, grocery, pharmacy, VFW and several restaurants. The internet connection was better than home and there was a computer in the lobby if you didn't bring your own. The TV reception was great. Much better than I expected for a small town. There were coffee pots and hairdryers in each room and most of our crew got a small frig. I want to go back just to experience how nice people really can be.

“SO much better than our Minneapolis hotel”

Room was very adequate for our needs and budget. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and mostly well-maintained. Front Desk personnel were congenial. Continental Breakfast was nothing special, but considering the price, it seemed reasonable. Negatives: Shower Faucet was falling off, but at least shower was functional. Needs attention. Room 257 (end of hall section), I forgot to tell Mgt. Did NOT need Housekeeping banging on every door, yelling out "HOUSEKEEPING" at every door, at 8:30am for 11:00 check-out. Granted, we forgot our "Do Not Disturb" sign, but it would not have mattered. We felt disturbed earlier than we wanted on OUR vacation time. I don't remember much room-to-room noise, but standing outside my closed door I could hear my wife brushing her teeth. Like most hotels, the barrier between the hallway and the room's interior does not prevent noise from coming inside.L
