Good value for the money!

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Good location, larger rooms than a standard hotel, comfortable beds.
Good location with a large parking lot, situated right off the highway and next to a Legal Seafood and other small shops in a strip mall, with an AMC movie theater right behind it. Also right across the highway from a large shopping mall. Staff was extremely pleasant during check-in (after midnight!) and check-out, providing lots of basic info on how to get around. An hourly shuttle is available to/from the T rail line, but we didn't use it because the last pick-up from the station is around 10:30 pm or so, and we planned on staying in the city later than that. But driving to the station ourselves was no problem as it is only 5-10 minutes away, and parking only costs $7/day. Our room on the top floor (6th) was spacious and very clean, with 2 twin beds and a sofa, which came in handy as a 3rd bed for 3 of us in the room. Air conditioning worked great, and we noticed very little noise outside in the hallways at night and even in the mornings, which is rare in a hotel...especially when it is fairly crowded as this was. Breakfast in the morning was adequate, although it offered slightly less than what I've had recently at lesser hotels. I ate there 3 mornings, and the main course was always meat/egg /cheese on an English muffin (bacon 1 day and ham the other 2 days). There is also fruit, mini donuts, cereals, yogurt, juices and coffee. Would have liked scrambled eggs with meat separate (sausage!), and some fresh donuts/muffins instead of what looked store bought.

Great location and good value

Stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 children aged 12 and 10 years. We wanted to spend some time travelling around Massachusetts and did not really have any set plans when we booked this hotel. It turned out to be in a great location for us. 20 mins drive from Boston. On the junction of an interstate that we could take either to Cape Cod or down to Rhode Island. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle Sevice to the nearby subway (the T train) and to the mall across the highway that would be tricky to get to by foot. We had a family room for 2 nights. Very comfortable and clean with free wifi, although the bathroom was quite small and dark. There were 2 pools (with towels provided for guests) which was an added bonus and the hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fab! Described as a hot buffet which really was an underestimation in our view!! So much choice!!! So overall this hotel was a great find in a very good location for exploring Boston or as a stopover on the way to other places.

One problem after another

Charged twice for one night, leaving a hold on my account, housekeeping didn't bother to show up one day, managements solution was a free pastry as opposed to actually fixing any problems.

This is a very clean hotel with a friendly staff. It was perfect for taking my teenager to and from hockey camp in Quincy with the mall right across the street! Also, with Legal Seafood and TGI Fridays right outside the door it was super. We have stayed here twice and would definitely do it again.

Nice Hotel for the price paid.

My wife and I stayed two nights. We did not want to drive to Boston. The hotel has a van that drops you to a nearby station and the trip to Boston Commons is about 20 minutes. On return you have to call the hotel for a pick up but it is there in under 15 minutes. The Breakfast is good. That was a good start to a busy day we had both days.

Convenient hotel

Nice staff, clean hotel, decent price. The only comment is you can tell they rushed or did the minimum to renovate, covered up a lot, should have replaced ceilings totally and door have plates covering up where doors were hacked up. The faucet in room when turned on hit the cheap mirror and was peeling laminate off. Didnt someone inspect workmanship? Or no speaky d ingles'

The real excellent hotel!

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Good breakfast. Clean room. Reasonable price. Nice and kind staff.
Cons: I couldn't find anything.
Location: There were many good restaurants and shopping malls near the hotel by walking. It was close to the highway.
I stayed two nights at the hotel during Boston trip and I really enjoyed the two nights. I found the hotel very easily because it is close to the highway. The hotel was very clean, comfortable. The staff were all kind. The breakfast was excellent and it was not instant food.
