The main reason for choosing this area, It was safe, The property is well kept up, It’s close to I-95. This visit was the third time in two years, Each time we pass through this area. We will plan our trip, So at the end of the day driving, This location will be our destination. Up to this point we have had a Good experience stopping at this location
Totally adequate place for a budget option. Good shower, comfortable bed, tv, mini fridge, good wifi. Our only complaint was repetitive noise from rooms on either side. It could have been a machine or a person’s voice. Not sure.

At this hotel the toilet was the size of a children's toilet, the shower tub was stained and dirty, and the beds were awful and very uncomfortable, I had to ask for more towels, pillows, and toilet paper as there were only 2 towels, (4 People were staying in the room) only 2 flimsy pillows per bed. I went by the office at 830 p.m. to ask for more and I got a knock on my room door at 11:15 pm to give me just 1 more towel and he looked inconvenienced.
I will not be staying again!
The room was immaculate; bedding and carpet look new. I95 is easily accessible from the location. There was no microwave, fridge or coffee station in the room, they are in the office. It was a little expensive for what's offered but the cleanliness of the room made up for it.
This is a basic motel. No complimentary breakfast, no pool, no fitness center, etc. On the other hand, it is clean, there is free coffee, the beds are very comfortable and it is conveniently located on Main street.

Room was decent. Was put in a room without a refrigerator which I agreed to. The hairdryer was broken. The hot water wasn’t hot enough.
We were told it was a non-smoking room both rooms stinking of cigarette smoke till you can't even breathe and they had nothing to offer us except to give us a bottle of fabriz so that we could clean for them.

I’m still shaking. The manager yelled at me after I simply asked that his staff properly transfer my call. Last night, my friend Leonard tried twice and he said the calls were dropped. The manager called me “rude” and brought up my rightful complaint about noise last night. He was rude, telling me to “calm down!” I like the clerk and was even planning to buy another week! I’m a widely published journalist and it’s unwise to yell at women like me. I’m now even more upset that after a lovely call with a woman at Expedia, the escalation guy didn’t seem to have a clue. I’ve requested a partial refund.

Location was good.
Place was dated. Lighting poor in room--- dim ceiling light, no bed lights. Mould on window.. Slow bathtub drain.

There was blood on the walls white/yellow stains on comforter toilet flushed all night by it’s self dirty walls in bathroom I slept on top of dirty cloths on top of the sheets nasty place

When I travel alone, I look for small mom and pop hotels that are clean, comfy, friendly, and we’ll cares for. American inn scores well on all 4 accounts.
I have stayed there twice now in a recently renovated room, and the family that runs the place has been very helpful. They keep everything clean and tidy and are obviously investing back into the property.
I’ll be staying again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They checked on us to see how the stay was going. It's a small place and the rooms are a little dated, but they were clean, had a fridge and microwave, and it is a convenient location close to the highway entrance.
Nice place to stay. Will definitely stay here again next time we go to Connecticut. 10 mins from everything we were in town for. Raj at front desk was super helpful l with directions and making us new keys. Will definitely be back here for every softball tourney we attend at the Sportsplex.
