Good place to stay with kids.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Had a nice stay. The indoor water park is great for rainy days. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Only a few miles from Silver Dollar City and close to all of the shows the town has to offer. The food was not great at the hotel cafe.

Nice waterpark, dirty room

Posted Aug 14, 2014
We stayed at the Castle Rock so that our kids could enjoy the waterpark after a busy day of shopping. The waterpark was great, the kids loved it. The staff seemed to be attentive to the waterpark. The room we got was in the atrium which is a separate motel beside the main hotel. We thought we were booking in the actual hotel. The motel looked rundown from the outside and the same on the inside. The room was dirty, deep cleaning was desperately needed. The furniture inside was dirty and falling apart. Hairs were all over the floor in the bathroom corners. Although the kids enjoyed the waterpark, we were completely disgusted with the room. We tried to find a room elsewhere but nothing was available that weekend.

Disappointed

Posted Aug 4, 2014
This was disappointing. One of the water slides was not working. The pools outside are only 3ft. deep. The pool inside was so cold we could not swim in it. Would not stay there again.

Hotel attached to the pool:

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Location: The location was good, close to other amusements and shows.
I expected to be in the hotel that was with the pool, it wasn't. I'd stayed there before and the rooms were down the hall to the water park. This made it a lot easier with the kids. They have another hotel next to the main hotel, you walked outside to the water park, this made it unhandy for us. The rooms were ok but the bedding was older , there wasn't a fridg in it either.

Quick getaway with 3 of the grandchildren

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The location offers easy access to all of Branson Mo. The waterpark is available even before check in time if you have a reservation.
Cons: Directions to find our room after check in were a little confusing. They have a complex of rooms that are off of the main waterpark location.
Location: All of branson is at the doorstep of this location. You have easy access to the shows, golf, go-karts, shopping, the lakes and the amusement parks.
We had a wonderful time and our grandchildren enjoyed the waterpark very much. The room was very clean and the rate was reasonable. It was conveniently located to all of the attractions we had booked on this Branson trip. We will be back.

Just OK - wont stay again

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The water park slides - Location
Cons: WiFi in the rooms. Some extra's for the adults that come with the children. Like beverages Free Breakfast, why does the outside pool not warm up?
Location: Tons of things - really liked that it was located just off strip so traffic was better by the hotel. Wax Museum Titantic, and the track
At check in times there were understaffed at the hotel desk. I was disappointed that Wi-Fi was not in the room. I had to log in for work in the lobby or the restaurant. We missed out on buying cheaper tickets to attractions due to not being able to order on line from the room. The rooms were clean but out dated. I was disappointed that when paying multiple $xxx a night you don’t get breakfast. It was $6.50 a person to eat breakfast in the mornings. Coffee only came in Decaf and regular - (didnt even have frech vanilla creamer) The water park could use a new coat of paint - a lot of rust around. The tube slide was great and saved the park for us! Water in the outside pools were extremely cold, couldn’t get the kids to swim out there so we were not able to sun bath. The inside pools were overly warm for the summer time. There are no healthy choices to eat in the building. No exercise room Also there is no beer or alcohol of any kind. I would suggest checking out the Branson Landing that is where we will stay next time

Great hotel, front desk staff a problem

Posted Jul 29, 2014
The hotel was nice (there was no microwave in the room I stayed in which sucked), restaurant staff & life guards were great. Front desk staff was rude and short. A maid saw me getting on to my daughter and made a smart remark to me infront of my child which upset me. The room and water park were nice. The life guards & other staff should check for armbands in the water park as we saw lots of people without one, saw people sneaking in the back, and even heard a guy on the phone telling someone to just sneak in the back. This caused it to be a little more crowded than ee expected. Had a blast but will not be stying there again.
