Disappointing

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: The secluded location.
Cons: The beds.
Location: Branson.
For the money that was paid, we found it very disappointing. We had double queen beds. You could tell the mattresses had never been turned. Each bed leaned toward the center night stand so you had to sleep on the opposite side of the bed to keep from rolling off. The water would not drain fast enough when taking a shower so you were constantly standing in 2" deep water. When they did come and clean the room all they did was make the bed. They charge you for valet parking per day whether you use it or not. We were just expecting better from a hotel that is supposed to be the premier hotel of the area.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting.

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Setting, staff, accommodations are great.
Cons: The outdoor hot tub only had two working jets. That needs to be fixed. Restaurant prices are pretty high, so be prepared for that, or to go out.
Location: Location is great, outside of Branson proper, but close enough to get their quickly. Just know part of Branson is still shuttered by recession.
Lovely facility, with wonderful views, pools. We had a room on the third floor (i.e. w/o balcony). View was nice, but balcony with that view would have been better. So avoid third floor if you want to sit and admire the view. Food is good, but pricey. However, on the whole, it's a great spot.

Disappointed

Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: Pleasant and quite
Cons: Don't his was my first visit but my church comes every year.
Location: Nice location on the Lake, not familiar with the area.
The check in staffer was rude, and made up feel that you needed to upgrade your room. I felt as though I was put into a room with a bad view as punishment for not upgrading to the higher priced rooms. This may not have been the case ;but she made me feel that way. The room was nice but outdated.

Beautiful and peaceful

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: The hotel was away from the hustle and bustle of the town and only a 6-8 mile trip to town.
Cons: We would have loved for the hotel bars to stay open later than 10 pm. We came there to relax and unwind instead of having to drive back to town.
Location: We ziplined off of Inspiration Tower, visited the Veteran's Museum, seen the Titanic and the best part was seeing the Haygoods Show.
We had a beautiful view from our hotel room. The rooms were very clean and all of the staff were so helpful on informing us on things to do and see in Branson.

Chateau on the lake-perfect for Silver Dollar City

Posted Apr 11, 2014
I chose this hotel because it was out of the traffic in Branson. It was an easy drive to SDC from the hotel and the views of the lake were amazing. The staff were great and the beds comfortable and clean. The room was spacious and well kept.

Pros: Clean
This hotel is nice but,it's very busy and if you are going there to relax and get away from noise and crowd then you will be disappointed! My husband and I got woke up almost every night we were there by slamming doors and very, very loud talking in the hall!!!I will not be going back to this hotel..Next time we will rent a cabin!!!!!Oh and they charge you for replenishing bottled water daily!!!

Wonderful views and excellent food!

Pros: Clean, quiet and a fantastic staff!
Cons: Nothing, it was all great!
Location: The hotel is easy to get to yet secluded. It is just minutes from all the popular Branson attractions, but the overall feeling is one of peace.
We ate 5 meals in the fine dining restaurant and each one was outstanding. The staff were friendly and so attentive. It was one of the best vacations ever!
