Don't stay here!!!Posted Nov 18, 2013
Cons: Everything including better management.
The rooms and bathrooms were very dirty and lots of mildew in tub area. No blow dryers or kleenex, did not leave shampoo and soap for second night, towels were worn and thin, beds were so old they were broken down and hard and I had to pay for ice from the ice machine. This was unacceptable for the price I was charged. I would have changed hotels, but busy weekend in Branson and no vacancies available in decent hotels.

Take this location off of your websitePosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: Leaving it.
Cons: Every thing needs improved. Period
Location: On HWY. few fast food locations near by, filling station.
Number one, owners of this cheap and poorly maintained 'hotel' were rude and definitely did not at all want to be bothered. I believe the owners, their children and a grandfather all live in the back room of the hotels office.

Filthy and disgustingPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Cons: Burn it down.
Location: There is nothing of any merit in Lakeview (Branson West) Stay in Branson if you are coming down
Don't be fooled by the picture. This is a filthy, disgusting motel and the owners/managers are rude and nasty. I would not let my dog stay there and we did not it was so nasty and it stunk. We had booked on line for two nights, cancelled after seeing and smelling how disgusting it was and the owners would not refund the money, Made an expensive trip since we had to pay for a "cheap" room we did not stay in and book another room in a clean hotel. The sign out front indicated rooms for $29.95 and we booked it for $55 a night. Again, it was no worth $1. It appears they rent rooms weekly or monthly for transient people and the property is filthy, stinky and disgusting. I learned my lesson here and will never book another room without further investigation into the property. DO NOT STAY IN THIS DIVE!!!

Convenient and affordable.Posted Oct 21, 2013
I needed an affordable spot to stay near Branson and this hotel worked out. It's definitely not the newest building, but the room was tidy and clean. I would have preferred a better lit parking lot, and a coffeemaker in the room would have been nice, but for $50 I can't ask for much. This place is good for a safe and cozy place to sleep, but that's about it.
Very shady motelPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Close to Silver Dollar City.
Cons: Nearly everything.
Location: A very rundown area.
Overall, it was terrible. The breakfast consists of your two different cereals, both stale. Oh, and coffee. There is no pool. There is no wi-fi. I realize that when you stay at a two star motel you can't expect some modern and updated room. BUT, cleanliness should be a priority no matter how old the place may be. There were stains on the towels and bed linens...that is a no-no. I was worried my car would get broken into. Also, there were several instances late at night where several men were trying to look into our room and knocking on our door.

Wouldn't stay againPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Lakeview Inn looked scary when we pulled in. We were put in a room in the back and there were men standing around talking, blocking stairways. The balcony was covered with painted particle board. The room appeared clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. It was a very basic room. Served its purpose. It was really hot when we arrived and took a couple of hours to cool off. Had to go to the office to get things like toilet paper because we were only left with half a roll. I wouldn't stay here again. I don't usually reserve online and should have read the reviews. It was cheap, but we've stayed in nicer for less in Branson.

The most filthy, disgusting hotel I've stayed in.Posted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: It was the only hotel that had vacancy within 50 miles of my kids' summer camp. Now I see why.
Cons: cleanliness, rooms smell like cigarette smoke, front desk attendant (owner's wife) could not speak English.
Location: Not wasting my time on this.
Hotel is not clean. Very run down. Air Conditioning did not work and when I called the owner/manager, he told me to try "jiggling the cord." This hotel should not included on Expedia's list of hotels.

We stayed 1 night at this location to pick our daughter up from a local camp. There aren't too many options in the vicinity. For the price, the room was fine for a 1 night short stay. Room was hot when we arrived but cooled down in an adequate time. Refrigerator was in the room but not plugged in so it wasn't usable.

For the price we paid on the 4th July weekend notPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Our rooms were clean sheets towels were clean not much noise we were on the back side.
Cons: It looked as if they were doing maintenace on the decks and the entry ways could of been cleaner but to me not a big deal.
Location: It is on the west side of SDC so MUCH less traffic-also plenty of places to grab a bite-Mcdonalds-Taco Bell-Oriental
I was worried because I had read reviews that did not sound good but when we got there it is a normal run of the mill hotel.

Under new ownership. Not a good change.Posted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room itself was fine, but the outward appearance of the property has greatly deteriorated. The breakfast room is no more. Instead there is a Fruit Loop and Raisin Bran dispenser in the lobby with a coffee dispenser. There were junky cars parked in the lot and clientele that made me uncomfortable hanging around the building. We had to pay for ice and the wi-fi did not work but about 10% of the time. Very disappointing after having stayed here several times due to the convenient location.
