“Nice for Branson”

It's not exactly New York City so don't set your expectations to high. Nice clean room that I would expect from Marriott. I would imagine it would be a great for kids during the summer.

“wish we could have stayed longer”

Clean, comfortable room bigger than expected! Great set up for a family of 6. Four boys in the extra room ( practically and small apartment) and the wife and I in the larger suite.

“Would stay again”

Room was extremely clean. We had everything we needed in the room. Outside pools all looked like fun but they were closed for the winter, indoor pool was nice. We would stay here again.

“Could have stayed a week!”

We had reserved the Villa, when we got there it was the Villa with a full kitchen, washer and dryer. Very nice and well maintained. Made me wish we were staying longer.

“Will always stay here when in Branson”

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located near attractions, yet just off the main congested roads. Comfortable and spacious villa rooms and plenty of activities for the entire family year-round. One complaint---very uncomfortable sofa beds and extremely soft pillows.

“Branson get-a-way”

If you want to be away from all the traffic and congestion of the 2 main thoroughfares, this is the place to be. It is close enough, yet secluded off the road. There are several outdoor and 1 indoor pool and hot tub which are always open. Scheduled activities, a lending library and poolside bar offers plenty to do. Not a cheesy hotel like so many in Branson. Only downside is distance from downtown area.

Getting around

With only 2 lane highways, no where in Branson is it easy to get around

Shopping

There is an upscale outlet mall--otherwise shopping is limited to craft malls.

Dining

No fine dining, but several buffet options at decent prices

Family-friendly activities

It's Las Vegas meets Wisconsin Dells--200 miniature golf places and 100 bumper cars.

Nightlife

SHOWS are the main attraction and there are several. Also several companies vying for you to book with them. Careful! Many are fronts for time-share. Most shows are 2p and 8p so driving is the worst at those times--bumper to bumper with few stoplights. Most shows are in mid $30 range

Events and shows

There's a show for every taste. Recommend SIX, Hamera Barber, Shoji Tabucci (was on vacation when I was there), and the Showboat Belle. All shows had a salute to veterans and some gospel. A little bit hokey, but still entertaining.

“Great Place to Stay”

We had a one bedroom villa and really enjoyed staying here. Very nice and clean without being overly "fancy". Bed was great. Perfect place for kids. Side note- at first it seemed that we would have to pay for housekeeping, but the maids do basic housekeeping (beds, towels, etc.) for free.

Area recommendations

Definitely get out of Branson and visit the surrounding mountains.

Getting around

I reccomend some sort of nav. system.

“Exceeded My Expectations”

This hotel is wonderful. It was comfortable, clean and extremely quiet. We traveled with an elderly woman and she too found the accommodations extremely comfortable. The only problem we had is that we had great difficulty finding the hotel. We were looking for it under a different name since we booked it under the name "Horizons." Also, we had the address, but there are no street numbers on the signs in the area. It was very frustrating and got our stay off to a weary start. The accommodations more than made up for it however. We would definitely stay again - and now we know where it is!
