Awesome family-oriented hotel!Posted Oct 15, 2014
Splashatorium was awesome! The kids had a blast & the hot tubs were nice. All very clean! Miniature golf course looked fun but it rained the whole time we were there. Breakfast buffet very delicious. Lots of family activities on ground & close to main Branson attractions as well.

Nice hotel; minimal to no trafficPosted Oct 15, 2014
This was a very nice hotel. They had many fantastic amenities that would be great for children. All of the staff members were very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Nice hotel with amazing poolPosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, fun splash-a-torium.
Location: Off the main strip but not too far to be inconvenient.
I love the hotel and pool. My only fuss would be that they close the slide down an hour earlier than they close the pool. And open it an hour later. Hotel swimming is a big part of our vacation for the kids so it is hard to do everything you want to do in town in the evening and then try to get back in time to use the slide pool. Wish the pool and slide were open later. But other than that, the hotel is great and we love the Splash-a-torium!

My daughter really enjoyed the indoor water park. Bed was comfortertable. Plan on staying at the Welk's again when we go to Branson.

Perfect for what we wantedPosted Oct 8, 2014
Our first time there, we were two moms, one grandma, two girl children, (one 3, one 12) in the hotel right across from Splash-atorium, first weekend in October. We did a bit of shopping, a bit of playing in the mini indoor waterpark. It was perfect for what we needed. Great breakfast buffet, great location. We'll look into the lodges on our next trip - the one for ladies only!

Research for future stays.Posted Oct 5, 2014
Cons: In & Out Times. This will way in my decision making for my future family planning in our vacation this summer.
Concerned with 4pm. Check in time, and then a 10am. Checkout.

welks resort branson, moPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: location, location, location
Cons: adult zones / no kids
Location: nice restaurants, close to the strip in branson, but kind of off the beaten path too!
very nice place for families, especially those with young children. Amanda at the front desk was absolutely awesome. I complained about my parents beds, and she went to the trouble to have the mattresses changed out during the day (unbelievable customer service)! It would be nice if their were no kid zones for adults to enjoy themselves too!

Second time staying here, we LOVE it!Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Pool, waterslide, splashatorium, activities, mini golf
Cons: Include breakfast for hotel guests. Also the concierge was a little rude upon check in and when trying to book show tickets.
Location: fish hatchery (FREE and fun for all ages) also Branson Landing farther away but SO FUN!!
Took a quick 4 day trip to Branson with my family of four and stayed in a king plus pull out couch. We loved it! This was our 2nd time here and the boys requested we go back. The pool and splash-a-tor-I-um was the favorite. There is also free mini-golf, activities room with pool, air hockey, etc and lots of fun optional hotel activites going on throughout the day. It was busier this year than last, but probably because it is such a great place to stay!

Nice weekend getaway for the familyPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Clean, updated rooms with granite counters and good linens. Mini fridge in room, free parking, well maintained.
Cons: Restaurant is tired and food only passable. Theater is closed ---hopefully for renovation?
Location: We went for Silver Dollar City, a smaller amusement park in the area, but Branson is known for its live music shows.
I booked this online for a quick trip to Silver Dollar City and was very pleasantly surprised. Welk was on a well manicured property with great staff. The lobby and rooms were updated, and nicely done. The pool with its slide and activity center was fun for our 9 year old --- there's a little mini golf course with a pretty view as well. Restaurant was pretty mediocre for breakfast. Biggest plus for us: it was not cheesy or over the top country cute, which appeared to be rare in the area.
