Nice surprise to find a charming placePosted May 30, 2014
We found this place very private and comfortable. We felt as if we were staying at friend's home.

Had a great stay at Anderes - short little walk into town, but still close to everything. Staff were great, room was very warm, and breakfast was fine.

Great hotel and not too far from the old townPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Rooms are clean and tidy and staff are very pleasant
Cons: nil required
Location: old town is within 15 mins and an easy walk down hill
This is a great hotel and good value for your money. Old town is 15 minute walk down hall, however that means a walk up the hill at the end of the day. The restaurant and food is good and staff are very helpful. Highly recommend.

Great hotelPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: The staff and large room.
Location: BW at Antares is literally on the side of a mountain. Public transportation is 2-3 blocks away. However, coming to the hotel is a steep climb.
BW at Antares is a nice hotel in a safe neighborhood. I walked both mornings I was there, got lost the first morning but with help of a stranger got back OK. The Soviet Soldier Memorial is 10-15 minute walk up the side of the mountain from the hotel and one side of Bratislava Castel is 20-30 minute walk. The homes of the American, British, and other Ambassadors are in the neighborhood.

Boutique Hotel - 15 minute away from centerPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a boutique hotel up on the hill. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very well kept. Breakfast was good and rooms had very good air conditioner. Its about a 15 ,impute walk down to the old town so walking it down will not be a problem, if your young and with a lot of energy it's not a hard walk back up, but if tired and late at night I would suggest taking a taxi. However the neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Would definitely recommend it .

Very nice hotel if you don't mind a walk.Posted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: The uphill walk from the old town (which I didn't mind really).
Location: Very peaceful and pleasant location.
The room was fine, towels were replaced even when we didn't need them to be! The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was fine and there is a very nice (if slightly small) garden in which to enjoy a drink. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the old town - the drawback being that the walk back to the hotel is uphill and ends on a fairly steep incline, but it's good exercise. There is a trolleybus route 208 that takes you from the old town up the hill towards the hotel but you still have to walk the last steep-ish bit. Anyhow, I would stay there again, it's great.

Very comfortable stayPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent room and very helpful staff. Location a little out of the way for the old town, but not too bad, and if you want to go to slavin it's about half way between the 2, so ideal for some.

Pros: clean room, very well kept.
Cons: offer a shuttle to and from the train station.
Good hotel, a little hard to get to though. I don't know if it was worth the money though.

Good ValuePosted Mar 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is a little dated but good value compared to other Bratislava Hotels. Food leaves a little bit to be desired and as it is a very nice residential area, it is necessary to make an effort.
