Nice hotel in a quiet location but near the centre
Nice clean room with very comfortable beds. We were facing the road but there was no traffic noise. Breakfast choice was extensive and all the staff were very friendly. It's just a short walk to the Old Town and I'd definitely use it again. The negatives: there was no bar in the evening and the restaurant isn't open in the evenings but the set meal price for lunch looked very good. There are other restaurants in the area which were good but when it's cold (we went for the Christmas markets) it would be nice to eat in the hotel. Small complaints though

This is a great hotel and everything about it was great. Breakfast really good and kept topping it up. Walking distance everywhere. Tram station short stroll away. Lady who checked us in was really nice and helpfull as was the man who checked us out; as well as the breakfast staff. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

I had a great stay at Hotel Danubia Gate. It is great hotel in a very good position. It is near the old town. It is close to transport links. The hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good. There was a good choice. Staff were helpful. The room was a single room and it was bigger than I thought it would be. It was very clean and had everything I needed.

This hotel is a little gem!
We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The experience was great since sending the first email (to book the parking space) until we left with a little gift (a magnet card of Bratislava). The reception staff was polite and helpful, they gave us some extra water when we used all in our mini bar. The room with jacuzzi was clean, spacious and a perfect treat after a long day at work. Breakfast was brilliant, much more variety that we had expected! A gym is very compact but for some quick basic workout is sufficient. The minibar has everything, even some healthy food choices and chewing gums. Overall, this a little gem only a 3-5 min walk from the centre of old town but in a very quiet neighborhood. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for a comfortable stay in the city 🙂

Really professional staff, the concierge was very helpful. We arrived early and he let ys drip off our bags so we could fo and explore befor checking in. It was a great breakfast and rhe welcome drink was a nice touch! Very sad to leave

Good value for money, central and comfortable.
Great location, good breakfast, rooms are comfortable however a bit dated. Reception Staff was professional and helpful. However staff at breakfast were not engaged and lack maturity. Also, guests cannot help themselves with coffee, it had to be one of the staff serving...they took a long time to serve coffee or sometimes they forgot about it, we had to remind them a few times...really bad and does not make any sense - why not allowing customers to have coffee as they please like in most hotels?!

This property lives up to its reputation as being an excellent hotel. I was really impressed with my room; cleanliness, conveniences like hooks and shelves, nice large shower, tasteful decor, great location close to old town and the mall and friendly helpful staff. Attentive service at breakfast with a lovely assortment of food plus my friend enjoyed the different types of coffee. Relaxing and laid back atmosphere. I would definitely stay at Danubia Gate hotel again!

Would stay again.
Can't complain about anything. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast buffet was a nice spread in the morning, with plenty of options for any the various diets. I used their gym a couple times, which although was simple, there were enough free weights, bars, and a few benches and machines for put together a good workout. The location is very quiet, but Bratislava is small, so there are plenty of public transport options and restaurants within a 5-15 minute walk. Its a great place in a great city!

Very nice stay, but was surprised it was a 4.7 stars. Location is only 5 minute walk to old Town which was great. Room was fine.. Clean.. Decent amenities.. They only have heat or air conditioning so if you come in the in between months it might be a problem as my room was hot and only the heat worked. Very nice hotel though.. Just wasn't five stars amazing.

This is a well appointed hotel within easy reach ( approx 10 mins walk) of the Old Town centre. The bedroom was spacious with comfortable chairs and a sofa in the deluxe room - there was also a thermomassage bath to telax in. Thete were 3 TVs available. We experienced a leak through our bathroom ceiling but this was tesolved promptly with little fuss. Breakfast in the ground floor dining area offered a good variety of tasty food including local produce. The waiting staff were very helpful. Getting soy milk instead of dairy was no problem

Overall excellent from location, hotel amenities, buffet breakfast, room comfort and services provided by the reception, housekeeping and breakfast servers. The only downside was wifi was not available in the rooms for 2 days and had to use wifi from dining area by the reception desk and it was inconvenient.

The location was perfect. It's 5 minutes walk from the Old Town and quiet because it actually isn't in the Old Town. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly; they seemed to take a real interest in what we did - but were in no way intrusive. It is very close to the trams for the main railway station (handy for a trip to Vienna) and also to the Ice Hockey and other stadiums. Excellent breakfast - good selection and very well cooked and presented
