Pros: layout of the suite and choice of digital equipment AND the view of the castle from my windows
Cons: Tea and coffee in suites not just at reception
A great modern well fitted out business suite, would recommend.

City Centre Apartments

Posted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Location, style, facilities, friendly and efficient staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The apartments are close to Bratislava Castle and a very easy walk to the city centre They are also on a main tram / trolley bus route.
The apartments are a true Gem, luxurious & well serviced by extremely courteous staff. I have stayed in Bratislava many many times & I can say that this apartment, 5 - 10 minutes walk from the Old Town is perfect for a short stay in the centre - I have recommended the apartments to all of mine friends.

Beautiful room in Bratislava

Posted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: The suite was superb. Friendly staff and located in a quiet part of town.
Location: The location is 10 minutes' walk from the old town. The area is quiet and pleasant. Near Slavin monument and Bratislava Castle too.
The hotel is located on a quiet street in a pleasant part of Bratislava; the walk from the old town is around 10 minutes. We enjoyed a business suite, which provided excellent facilities (comfortable bed, superb shower, self-catering facilities, etc). The staff were friendly and immediately dealt with our one request that the toilet be cleaned a little more than it had been before our arrival. I would highly recommend this hotel, it enabled us to have a fantastic trip to Bratislava.

Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to sites

Posted Dec 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wonderful small hotel located in a residential area. Quiet, but close distance (walking) to the historical center (old town) and the Hrad Castle. Hotel staff is very friendly. The room is huge (by European standard), with kitchen and living areas. Beds are very comfortable. But the furniture looks ready to be donated to homeless shelter (looking used, stained and worn). But the kitchen equipment and utensils are great. Will definitely come back and stay there again!

Relaxing stay.

Posted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Relaxing. Quiet. Spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Visit the Castle. Take a day trip to Vienna.
The hotel staff were very helpful and pointed out all the main attractions to visit and provided a map of the city centre to help us during our stay. We had a spacious, comfortable room with a well equipped kitchen.

An excellent choice for independent travelers

Posted Sep 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
A great choice: it's a direct bus from the central bus station (bus 208 I think), it's on a hill overlooking the castle-- the views from our room were better than from the Slavin, the room is huge with modern conveniences and a nice open kitchen. There is a Tesco close by, so if you are tired of paying 10-15 euro for breakfast then you can save. The walk to the old town is 15 minutes, but goes quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here a week or even a month if needed, but unfortunately we were only passing through Bratislava. A great choice if you are independent and want a place to stretch out for work (fast wifi) or play (great stereo system.)

A Beautiful Surprise

Posted Aug 5, 2013
Thought I had booked a cheap hotel for the night, but was blown away by the service (genuinely friendly and helpful), and the size and comfort of the room. Bratislava is not a place I visit often, but I will absolutely stay here whenever I am in the area. A beautiful surprise. My wife agrees with me 100%, she loved it too.

Clean and comfortable.

Posted Jul 6, 2013
Cons: Steep steps from the road to the hotel lobby and it is very difficult to carry luggage up these steps as there is no assistance available or offered.
Location: Close to the centre but uphill.
The location is close to the centre but the hotel is on an incline and after a day out it is a steep climb back. The room/studio was very clean and comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. You need to be quite fit to be able to manage your luggage up and down the steps that lead up to the lobby from the street.

Lovely space, but prepare for a hike.

Posted Jun 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
I loved my room, the hotel and the neighbourhood. The only thing I would possibly caution people about is that the hotel is a fare uphill hike. If you are not in the right health condition to deal with the hike, it may be best to look elsewhere. Otherwise, I had a perfect time at this hotel.
