Getaway but 10mins from South Dublin!

Posted Dec 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
You might aswell be in any hotel, anywhere in the country, yet it takes 10 mins to get to so great for next morning not have to face a horrific train or road trip! Food is superb. Bars and nightclub are brilliant. The new rooms are fabulous! Best of all the room rate is unbeatable. Staff are great, everyone just so helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Wicklow.

Great hotel overlooking the water

Posted Dec 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and had a view of the water. The employees at the front desk were always very nice and helpful. We did not have a chance to eat the restaurant at the hotel, but wish we were able to as it was very busy every night. Location is perfect if you want to do the cliff walk to greystones. The aircoach stop was a short walk from the hotel.

Great Place

Very well located on Bray promenade, very nice place outside and inside, the only down is the lack of sound proofing when your room is just above a 21st birthday, but the earplugs did the trick. We didn't have any food there, so I cannot say anything about it!

Nice hotel probably the best in bray

On the second night of a two night stay there was some very loud girls outside that disturbed my sleep. Not sure if they were in the hotel or next door.

Don't trust the photos

Posted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked an apartment in the Martello from the photos on the website .. It was a sunny room with nice pictures on the walls.. What we got was nothing like the photo ... A back room, cold dark with a window that we could not close the blind .. One chair in the room so we had to take turns to sit down .. A bathroom with mould on the roof ... And an air con unit that I was told was going of at 10pm but was still going at 1.30am .. Breakfast was nice and staff where nice .. I would like to go back see if the room in the photo is real ..

a little noisy family apartment

The Hotel was OK, but the family apartment led to the noisy back of the hotel, where the ventilation was going all the time.

Good location

We had a good size apartment but I believe some r much smaller. A lovely big comfortable bed, nice and quite as we. We're in back room. Only big problem is parking , all spaces are now pay and display but most are only to the max of three hours, which meant we had to move car after three hours to a new space. Discovered one car park up near pier was €3 for 12hrs so used that second day but it was quite far away from hotel for luggage etc. this has really put me of going back to bray and the council should take note that hotels will lose business , ours for one.
