This Hotel is the most dishonest & pathetic i have ever come across in Europe. I booked the Hotel through Hotels.com & selected a room with option to pay at the Hotel in local currency. As usual i entered my credit card details which Websites like Hotels.com need to verify & confirm your bookings & even though Hotels.com says that we will not debit the payment without your permission, the hotel was able to debit my card for 1 night & then had the audacity to cancel my booking saying that the Hotel is full. I tried resolving the issue by speaking to Hotels.com customer support & sent them a screenshot of Debit msg received from the Bank but neither the Hotel not Hotels.com provided me with a solution even after speaking to them for 3 hrs (BTW all this while i was on my way yBreda from Germany). Finally, with no option left & choosing between being stranded or getting a good night sleep, i had to find a hotel in Amsterdam as all hotels in breda or near by places were full which cost me huge additional expense but Neither The Campanile Hotel or Hotels.com cared about the customer even after giving them all the proof on mail. So, please think twice before booking the hotel & sharing your card details with this hotel.
