Good hotel. Saw northern lights. Very good foodPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: I liked the food. Best seafood soup I ever had. Very nice big bathroom. Big breakfast buffet.
Cons: I can not think of any improvements.
Location: It was in town near everything
Seeing northern lights was very special. The restaurant had VERY good food. The room was comfortable. Big shower in bathroom.

Our room was not in building picturedPosted May 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were taken to the building next door which from the outside is a paint falling off concrete apartment building, good news was our room was completely renovated. We had no wifi. Breakfast was a tray of food in the refrigerator Labeled with our room number.

Wish we could have stayed longer than one night! There was a sauna and a great lodge like room full of books to read and movies to watch. Very charming and in a beautiful town.

Beautiful hotelPosted Apr 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
This was the nicest hotel we stayed at on our entire driving trip circumnavigating Iceland. It was a beautiful and luxurious new big wooden lodge with a huge common room with fireplace and tv with videos, leather sofas, a foosball table which my son loved. Breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious and the room was large, comfy, and similarly lovely. We didn't get a chance to try the sauna or restaurant but the host was helpful and friendly.
