“Friendly hotel. Extremely helpful.”

This hotel was great. I booked the trip as a surprise for my husband so he could watch Werder Bremen. The hotel have been extremely helpful in making this trip perfect. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The next time we go we shall be staying in this hotel. Handy for trams too. Three tram stops to the hotel on a number 6 from the airport. Excellent.

Stayed 4 nights, comfortable and clean rooms. If you like quiet rooms ask for ones that don't face the main road.

“Dont be put off by bad reviews”

We had read the reviews about the noise from trams, but the noise wasnt great and the position of the hotel, and the friendly staff far outweighed this. It was situated only 3 stops on the number 6 tram into the city. It would have been great to know this before we went, as it was late evening when our plane arrived, however we got off at the correct stop by a fluke. Would definitely stay again if we went back to the city.

“Good Location / Great Service”

I have stayed several times at this hotel because it is close to the Bremen airport to make an early morning flight. The room is always clean and comfortable. Parking can be an issue if you arrive late, as there are often cars towing trailers or larger vans / lorries in the parking lot. On this stay, the front desk staff provided exceptional service. I did not hear the wake up call. Fortunately, the front desk staff came to the room to make sure I was awake (I had told them I had an early flight when I checked in). Thanks!

“Excellent Stay”

Great location, good rooms, good condition. 15mins walk from Airport, 20 mins walk into Historic town. Didn't try food so can't review. Service and staff very friendly. Bar closes Sun/Mon. Wifi €5 for 24 hr period which is good value. There is a free wired PC in the lobby which is VERY slow, but good enough to check email etc. Rooms were comfortable and sizeable, I had an on-street room which can be noisy with the window open, double glazed windows shut cancels ALL noise. All in all, a great value great location hotel. Ignore the septics and bad reviews, this is a good hotel.

“Godd value for money”

We found the Hotel good value for money. Bremen is expensive for City centre accomodation . The Mercure was a little way out of town but the tram service had 2 stops within 100 metres from the hotel . The no. 6 tram ran every 10 minutes from Airport to City centre and vice versa. No need for taxis . The hotel was 3 stops from City centre and 2 stops in opposite direction to the Airport . Very convenient and cheap. Staff were friendly , breakfast was good , and rooms were clean and adequate. I suggest you request a room adjacent to the car park at the rear of the hotel as the rooms adjacent to the main road were noisy .

“Satisfactory stay”

Good place for a shortstay business trip, wouldn't recommend it for a holiday or more then 2 nights. Rooms are basic but clean, staff was friendly and parking is available behind the hotel. Good location close to Bremen airport.

“Traffic is noisy”

It's situated near the traffic road and noise from there is quite considerable. At least wifi is really decent, and personal is nice. Quite reasonable and suitable for early morning departures from nearby airport.

“A Good Option Near the Airport”

A brisk twenty minute walk from Flughaven Bremen, Mercure Hanseatic Bremen is also located a half hour from Domshof (the city center) just off the 6 Tram Line. The friendly Neustadt neighborhood is just on the doorstep and seems to have some decent dining options if you don't want to go downtown. The major downside of the location is that it abuts a major thoroughfare that can be noisy at night, especially since it appears to be a preferred route for emergency vehicles. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with pleasant desk staff. The rooms are standard with German-style hotel bedding. The breakfast buffet was ample. My major problem with the hotel was that it left my room in an intermediate state of redecorating. A notice apologized that no curtains and blinds had been provided, leaving me to take care to avoid exposing myself to the views of the apartment dwellers across the street.
