“Really clean quiet place”

Our family stayed in two rooms. They were very clean bed was comfy towels and linen appeared new. No complaints. Free breakfest didn't seem to have an attendent food ran out quickly so we chose to eat elsewhere.

“I Always Stay Here When I'm in Brenham”

I visit Brenham at least twice every year to attend the Round Top and Warrenton antique fairs and this is by far the best value hotel in the area. Cheaper than Hilton and cleaner than Comfort Suites.

“Very clean and comfortable hotel”

I had a really nice stay at the Best Western Plus in Brenham, Texas. The room was a really nice size, the bed very comfortable, the room very clean. Check in and out was really easy. Very good location to most attractions and restaurants. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there again if I need a hotel in this area.

Must see

The cotton gin in Burton tour was great. I did not know much about ginning cotton but the tour guide there was great. My husband picked cotton growing up and he also really enjoyed this tour. Also, the Antique Rose Emporium was great, the Washington on the Brazos museum--wonderful museum on Texas history. Of course the Blue Bell Creamery tour is a must see. The Ellington Greenhouses were also very beautiful with a very abundant assortment of potted plants. If you are visiting this area, it would be really worth you while to email the Brenham city of commerce for a very good brochure with info about restaurants, local attractions, lodging, and so much more. The brochure also has a very good map of local area as well as city map.

“Best Westerns can be a gamble but this one is a sure bet!”

A client booked me into this hotel and I wasn't sure what to expect but it was very nice and clean. Free breakfast at the restaurant next door beats the buffet at the chains any day. Lots of stuff nearby including a Starbucks just up the street.

“Acceptable accomodations.”

While this was "acceptable", it wasn't the best. The breakfast at the resturant next door was the best thing about it. Would probably recommend to others with explanation. The a/c cooled, but made unusual noises both days.

Area recommendations

This is our home town, and we were there for a reunion. Blue Bell Ice Cream tour, shopping, Rose Emporium, Allenson's Nursery during the Christmas season, and bluebonnet landscapes in the spring are all highlights.

“Very enjoyable stay!!”

Researched reviews before visiting, and have to agree with the positives. Very clean, convenient, and cost effective. Enjoyed our stay, would use them again, and would recommend them highly to anyone visiting the area.

Getting there

Used Google navigation on my G1 phone to get there, but hotel was not where it was supposed to be, so be aware of this if using Google.

“Best Western was a quality stay.”

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a pet (Macaw) with us that the hotel was completely comfortable with. The beds were comfortable and the comp breakfast at the restaurant next door was very good. I thought the price was a little high though, as this is not a major market (Somerville, Tx) but under the circumstances (limited rooms available in the area) it was acceptable.

“brenhams wonderful get away”

wonderful stay in the country. Great hotel, wonderful ammenities. I thought they were very nice and pleasant at check-in and the room was very comfortable. would recommend to everyone.
