I have been staying at this property since it opened as a LaQuinta. This was my first bad experience in many years. The rooms are not being cleaned. I checked in Monday afternoon. When my daughter and I returned to the hotel on Tuesday afternoon, our room was as we left it that morning. I called the front desk and said I would like to get fresh towels. I was told rudely to come down and get them. Wednesday when I returned the room was still not cleaned. I called the desk and was told I was not on the list to be cleaned but she would put me on the list for today. I said my trash was overflowing and I needed service. The person finally agreed to send someone. The housekeeper cleaned the bathroom and emptied the trash. I left this morning. I don’t plan to return here. The prices are doubled or more because of antique week in Round Top but provided no service this time. Greatly disappointed that I need to find new lodging in Brenham.

TV didn't work correctly, but the lone staff member that night did come up and get it working. She was excellent. Hard worker. This is not a $200 / night hotel, but I guess that is what happens during the antique show month. It's more like a $110 hotel. However, if you are going to charge $200 / night, you have to at least staff the hotel accordingly. There was only one person on duty that evening, and it was a Friday. Cleanliness was excellent.

The staff was nice. My room wasn’t. Way overpriced. The plumbing didn’t work. Could not flush the toilet. Stained carpets. The beds were hard and the pillows were totally flat.

The staff was very friendly and felt homey. Everything was like a hotel should be. If I had to complain about anything, the toilet seat in our bathroom was broken. We mentioned this to the front desk and she offered to change rooms and was super sweet. Would stay again

Breakfast was mostly starch, the property is old and shabby. While as clean as possible there is no getting around the old stained carpet and furnishings. Staff was friendly.

Formerly a La Quinta which Wyndham obviously rebranded due to lack of business. There were very few guests here. It’s very clean in every aspect. Breakfast amenities are not what La Quinta offers. Enough dining possibilities within several minutes walk or drive. I’m building a home in a neighboring area and would definitely stay here again during our construction.

We arrived late Friday night. We were greeted warmly by the front desk person. She was thorough with instructions. The room was clean, comfortable, all linens & towels had that just washed scent. A/C, heat, TV all worked well. Standard free breakfast, coffee was good. Location was great. Check out was easy. Thank you Baymount by Wyndham for a very pleasant experience.

It was a good stay, however it could have been better as the commode rocked a bit, the bed was too high for a 5 ft 2 in person, the carpet was torn & the office chair had a chunk out of the arm. Also for the money, we paid, there were no proteins on the breakfast bar.

Clean Smell-Uncomfortable Beds
When you walk in to check-in it smells really clean, which is great. The beds are terrible, very hard not comfortable at all. When we pay almost $200 for one night, I’m not asking to sleep on a serta sleep number bed but I also don’t want it to feel like sleeping on the ground.

Went to super 8 first and the smell on top of not having an elevator had us in a panic for another hotel for almost an hour. We were so lucky to find Baymont and they saved the day and we made it to the wedding JUST in time.

Review of Baymont Brenham
It was a good stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV and remote control were not in sync so we had trouble with that. We did kind of finally fix it but not completely. We had no volume control or on/off control on the TV remote provided. It was a minor inconvenience.

The lighting was terrible. The carpet had multiple spots that looked as though a pet had peeded on it. The armchair was filthy and would not sit in it. The chair at the desk needed the arms reupholstered because the chair was forced under the desk. Horrible shower head. I will never stay at another Wyndham property. The desk clerk at check in could not split the bill between 2 credit cards. Just not a good experience.

The service was great, the front desk was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast they serve on site was limited to cereal, fruit, make your own waffles along with juice, coffee and milk. Overall, a great stay. We would definitely stay again.

Property was in a good location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Property had several amenities that we did not get to take advantage of. (pool, workout room) There were several options for continental breakfast. It was quiet we were able to rest in the evenings. The property could have had more available parking. Work was being done on one side of building so we were limited. The property itself needs a little updating, carpet worn and in need of painting. I would stay here again.

I was upset with the swimming pool coz it looked very nasty and dark blue. Usually a swimming pool would look nice Clear and we can see the bottom of the pool but it wasn’t and my daughter and I wanted to swim but it looked awful nasty. Good customer service and friendly and the rooms were great!!
