Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is a bit outdated but was clean. The grounds left a bit to be desired due to all the broken glass and trash in the parking lot. All-in-all they place was sufficient and I would probably stay there again.

We felt safe at the hotel. We saw many people with dogs, but didn't see any children, so all was quiet. The staff was friendly and courteous. While the hotel has some areas which could use some updating and/or repair, we found it to be clean and most everything was functional. We would stay there again.

Ice machine wasn't working. When you pulled the thing to turn on the shower, it still came out the spigot. Burn holes in the bed spread and the blanket. The breakfast was a joke. The milk was set out in a pitcher so it was warm.

Mini fridge didn't work which led to issues with my cat's prescription food. Faucet sprayed water all over the bathroom counter. Room was humid and stuffy even with a/c running, would not want to stay there outside of winter (it was in the 60s out during our stay) The provided breakfast consisted of stale hostess ding dongs and donuts, waffle station, and cereal. Will not be returning.

We spent one night there. It was ok. No bed bugs which was my biggest worry. Tons on dead beetles outside the door and in parking lot. We had a nonsmoking room, but i wonder if it was a smoking room at some point, because there was a faint smell. It could possibly be pulled through ventilation. The AC worked really well, so huge plus. The bathroom needed updating, the tv is tiny, but the beds are comfy. We didnt go to breakfast so we can't review it.

The stay was good but the property of the room needs up dated like the toilet was loos from the floor and it would move around while using it… the shower head was broken so water would go everywhere… the shower curtain does not close properly the room smelled very musky… but other than that it was a decent stay

Best bang for you Buck in Giddings, TX!
Good property with excellent location. Compared to all other properties in Giddings, Super 8 was the best value. I stayed in the same room 6 months ago and reported a non working microwave, refrigerator and barely working A/C. this time, ALL WERE CORRECTED AND PERFECT! My compliments to management.

DON'T STAY HERE
Motel not in a good location. Management seemed very uninvolved. Breakfast offered was cold cereal only. When we went into the breakfast room, it was completely dark and no one else was in there. As we left the breakfast area we saw someone behind the front desk preoccupied on her phone and nothing was said to us. Property VERY OLD and rooms reflect it. Dark and uncomfortable.

The hotel is not fancy but was very clean. We had a 3 day stay and they changed our sheets and straightened up the room every day. No problems I would definitely stay agian.
