AWFUL HOTEL/MOTEL!!!

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Close to Bretton Woods Ski Area.
We had to wait in line for 25 minutes to check-in. Get into hotel, very old, nothing updated, one star hotel for $265/night. Bathroom was so dated and shabby caulking, linoleum. Old rugs. Beds were somewhat comfortable. Toilet didn't flush and we had no toilet paper so I called guest services 4 times. They did not answer. Went to the pool with the kids, water was overflowing with gross puddles of water and dirt. Humid, could not see the pool through the fog. Jacuzzi broken. Used pool phone to get guest services to fix our toilet. They still did not answer from the Emergency pool phone. I called 411 for direct line to the Lodge. Called direct line and no one picked up. Called the Omni Mt Washington Hotel for them to get a hold of someone to fix toilet. As we were leaving, there was a mouse scurrying into crack at door. Walls were thin and could hear surroundings.

nice hotel centrally located

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: centrally located knowledge of hotel staff of area
Cons: pricey for what is offered..
Location: Location to Bretton Woods ski resort is perfect. Mount Washington is within eyes view.....
Arrived early at hotel rooms are not available until 4pm no matter what you plan or get approved in advance. Shuttle bus can be delayed if hotel staff does not call for it. great location to Bretton Woods, Hotel staff not familiar with area or other food options Other food options are not located close to this property, plan in advance if you want to save money, the food options close by are $$$$ very expensive room was great, breakfast was great. Would come back if price was lowered.

Pros: Nothing
We checked into our room and found 3 dirty towels on the floor in the front hall. A gass of water on the table. Two empty packages of toe warmers on the night stand. A half empty bottle of ginger ale, a dirty bar of soap, and the room smelled like smoke. I told Kelly the maintenance man and he offered to get room freshner. He said he had no other available rooms. I told him I was going to check the Mr. Washington Hotel to see if they had availability. They did and I moved over there. It cost us an additional $150.00 per night. We were there for two nights for a wedding. Two other couples we were with also left and came over to the Mt. Washington. Another couple that stayed at the Lodge woke up to no water in her shower. Would not recommend.

Spontaneous getaway

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Heater worked well, nice balcony overlooking Mount Washington and the hotel, very picturesque. Plenty of towels, clean room, flat screen TV, breakfast
Nice experience. The free breakfast was a nice option, the coffee was surprisingly very good as it came from a large machine (and I'm picky about coffee). There are free shuttles that can bring you to anywhere around the resort area which is large. Staff was friendly, parking lot was plowed, indoor swimming pool which looked good, a small store which was handy when getting snowed-in. Overall: I will return.

Hotel is great and accessible to everything around

Only compliant would be that the bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that everything was great!

A lot of money for motel quality

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Convenient to ski slope but well overpriced for the quality. Bathroom floors were pretty grubby. Layout very good with good amount of storage space for bags and ski boots. Wifi free but slow

Generic but fine motel; great location

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Cons: Price is high for what it is. Breakfast is very uninspiring. Fresh fruit, nuts, raisons, etc. would be nice.
The motel is basic but totally fine (clean). The plus is really the location -- so close to Bretton Woods for skiing, and use of the Mount Washington Hotel (including shuttle bus to/from).

Cons: better snowmobile trailer parking
Great location, same awesome view without the Mt Washington prices...
