Disappointing

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: The View and shuttle service.
Cons: Offer breakfast. More comfortable chairs in rooms, bigger TV, get rid of outdoor carpeting, spruce up lobby and rooms.
Lodge was OK but if it is to be included in the Omni Bretton Woods Resort, it definitely could use a major renovation. OK to be the cheaper alternative to the Mt. Washington and Bretton Arms but it should not look as old and worn as it is. Things like shabby and dirty outdoor carpeting on stairs and outside passageways, very uncomfortable seating and tiny TV make it look more like Econolodge than an Omni property.

The Lodge at Bretton Woods- ok

Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: The shuttle and ability to travel easily on the resort.
Cons: The hotel needs to be updated. It would be great if they added a continental breakfast too.
Location: skiing, kids snow mobiles, adult snowmobiling, horse drawn sleigh rides, pools & hot tubs, spa, tubing, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing!
Overall, we had a nice, relaxing family vacation. The Omni property offers lots of family friendly activities. However, the Lodge is the last on the property to be renovated and leaves some to be desired. It was clean and comfortable, but doesn't match up to the standards of the rest of the Omni Property. Also, breakfast was expensive in the main dining room. There was really no other breakfast option, especially given a child with food allergies.

Hotel is not cheap. There was a brawl in the room above us the first night we were there.

This is a motel not a hotel.

Posted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: Is is close to the Omni.
Cons: It needs to be re classified and the price needs to go down.
There is no facilities working. Rooms open to outside, pretty cold the day I was there.

Close to slopes, nice pool

Posted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: convenient to slopes, well maintained pool, friendly & helpful staff.
Cons: Current upgrades to room decor and rugs will go a long way. Hopefully the prices won't go too far north as well. It's still a glorified motel.
Location: Bretton Woods is a great mountain with well groomed trails. Also, Northern Embers in Carroll is a great family restaurant 10 minutes away .
We stayed for a ski weekend. Omni Hotels is working hard to get this former motor lodge up to hotel standards. Some rooms are better than others as they upgrade linens. Rugs still need to be done in all rooms. Not sure how they get around the outdoor (covered) walkway to access the rooms. They are currently doing a major renovation in the lobby area to add a lounge and buffet breakfast. Current price reflects the condition of rooms (clean but tired). Good news iis that you have a 1 minute shuttle to the slopes, get discounted lift tix at the front desk and can use all of the facilities at the "big" hotel, including the outdoor pool. The resort owns most of the restaurants in the immediate area, which are decent food (or good food, depending on where you go) but at resort prices.

Motel?? Not worth $200+

Posted Jan 20, 2014
This is a motel in all aspects of the facility with the exception of the staff and the shuttle service available. Not worth $200+, in fact not worth $100, but unfortunately options are limited in the area. We were very disappointed with the accommodations.

The Lodge is a great location to the Mt Washington Hotel and Bretton Woods ski mtn. The room was clean and basic. Great place to lay the head after enjoying the main hotel or ski mtn.

Great location and reasonable value for money

Posted Jan 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed for five nights as a family of five over Christmas. Had two rooms with interconnecting door so all very convenient. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Great view of the main hotel and rest of resort. Shuttle bus system throughout resort and to the skiing base station was really good. Only slight downside is that there are no eating options in the Lodge itself and limited options elsewhere in the resort. Had to travel to other parts of the resort, or further, for breakfast, lunch, dinner etc.

ok

it wasn ok hotel, it was close to the mountain, there was no breakfast the coffee they did have was cold they say they updated it but I could not tell if it was or not look pretty old and rundown to me but for the closest to the mountain it was worth the price after skiing all day the water was hot the bed was okay it would not be my choiceif I wanted to stay somewhere nice. However I would go back because of convenience.
