Hi Sharon. Thank you for the note. With a house as old as this one, at 221yo, you are bound to hear the creaking floors somewhere. I am glad to hear you loved the breakfast and were able to self check-in easily given your late arrival time. With the 5 coffee & beverage stations we have throughout the Inn, our hope is that everyone can get that cup of tea or coffee when needed. You will have to come & stay more than 1 night next time when you are not working to really enjoy the full amenities of the Inn.
