Horrible accomodations and service.Posted Dec 3, 2013
Location: Great location, lots of beaches and restaurants.
The beds were hard as rock. We did not receive any housekeeping service for an entire day. No clean towels, beds unmade, etc. There was severe evidence of leaks and a moldy smell. The heating unit caused so much noise that television watching was not possible when the heat was on.

Booking through ExpediaPosted Oct 23, 2013
When we got there, the 1 br was on the very lower level 3 flights down. When I called the desk and told them Nancy has severe asthma, they said you booked through Expedia and thats all we have, we are full this weekend. I spoke with the manager and they moved us to another room on the top floor. They were very nice! Does that mean Expedia was or was not aware of what room or suite we would get? Its a good thing that we have stayed there before a few times. I believe that went a long way for us to get a better located one bedroom suite. Disappointed, Joe Salemi

Pros: Good location, nice front desk staff, good sized room
I booked this hotel for a 2 night get away in mid-October. We are well traveled, but not snobs in any way, as long as it is clean and appropriately priced I am usually ok. First, I thought the $25 resort fee was a bit ridiculous considering it was OCTOBER - I could see charging a resort fee in high season, but I found it to be far fetched in late autumn. Why not just charge more for the room? The resort fee concept always seems a little sneaky. I admit I did not realize there was a resort fee until I looked on trip advisor - my own fault for not doing my proper research, but I certainly wasn't going to the beach or playing tennis in 55 degree weather! The room itself, (not in the mansion) a 1 bedroom villa was a good size and well equiped with a kitchen that had a microwave, two burner stove, glasses, plates, bowls, etc... However, the room was not that clean, there was a moldy smell and mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and on the curtains in the bedroom. The mattress was well past its prime.

Beautiful locationPosted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: The bed was incredibly comfortable. We got a great nights sleep.
Location: So much to do. We were there to ride our bikes. The bike path is fabulous. It looked like there were some great shops in town too.
We stayed for only one night while we were traveling through on a charity bike ride. It was absolutely luxurious! The staff could not have been more accommodating. We had dinner at the outside terrace just before sunset. Such a beautiful spot. And no worries about the fall chill, there are heaters to keep you warm and staff also offered blankets after dark. Dinner was delicious. We will definitely be back when we can spend some more time.

Lovely Cape Cod VacationPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed at this resort with my two 20 year old children and overall it was a lovely two days. My two concerns were that while I was promised that my room "was ready" when I arrived about 2 in the afternoon, I did not receive the key until 4 PM. While the resort says that they cannot promise the rooms until 4, why not just say that when guests arrive? I would have made other plans than waiting around in the lobby. As other reviewers has stated, the bottom units can be musty. We requested a top floor and were glad we did. Our unit did not have a pullout couch but a murphy bed in the middle of the living room. It worked fine but was a little tight with the air mattress we brought. The main house was great. We had dinner in the pub and used the pool there and the two at near the condos.

Great Weekend GetawayPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We went away to the cape for a last blast of summer. This was a perfect place! Got in late on a Friday coming down from Boston, checked in quickly and walked over to Lynx for a great easy meal with pleasant attentive staff. The shuttle service made it easy for us to get over to the mansion (running every 15 minutes) the following night for a cozy dinner in the Tavern. Located 20 minutes from Chatham and 1 hour from Provincetown, Brewster made a great location for sightseeing around the Cape. We will definitely be back!
