Under construction....smokyPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: Close to lots of places to eat
Cons: Nearly everything.
The hotel is undergoing a major renovation....GOOD! It seriously needs it! It also needs to adopt a non-smoking policy. Let me say this, I SMOKE AND THE SMELL IN THE HALLS WAS OFFENSIVE TO ME!! At least my non-smoking room didn't smell. In addition, this is a 2-story hotel with no elevator. I have a lot of luggage since I bring enough clothes and food with me for an entire week when I travel to this area for work and I had to lug it up the stairs one piece at a time. The best thing they could do would be to shut the hotel down until the construction is complete. The parking lot was half taken up by construction materials so parking was short of what was needed. There was Styrofoam pieces inside the lobby and in some of the rooms. I know this because I overheard several people complaining to the front desk about it being all over their room and their belongings.

A convenient stop off on the way homePosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is undergoing renovations. I wouldn't choose it again until remodeling is finished. Room was adequate but that's all.

one night only - if you mustPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Friendly service and close to local restaurants. Hotel was run down but undergoing significant renovations. Room bed and furnishings were dated. Room was poorly cleaned and didn't appear to have seen a vacuum in some time - certainly not between visitors. Sheets were clean but dingy looking. Breakfast included was good.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. They are re-siding the outside, so it appeared a little disheveled; however the room was nice and served our purpose as we were just passing through town on our way home from vacation. The free breakfast included hot items, which was a welcomed change. NOTE: This hotel is on the same road as a small airport.

While the service we received was good and the location was convenient, I would not recommend this hotel. It was not super clean, the mattress felt really old, the workout room had a horrible smell in it, and there was a lot of noise from upstairs, the hall outside the door, and outside our window. There is a decent diner next door, but not nice enough to justify staying here.

Decent price, run-down motelPosted Jul 2, 2013
$95 was a bit much for this room, but the fracking plays in the area have run up prices some. The motel has become run-down: carpets worn and dingy, caulk in bathrooms separating and dirty, etc. on the plus side, there have been no bedbugs reported here, unlike a number of hotels in the area.

Staff and location were great for my 1 week stay. Bed and room were good and housekeeping was there whenever I needed them.
