Stunning hotel, small and friendly. The staff were welcoming and helpful with everything. Omal on the bar is fabulous with his cocktail creations, Angela & Ceraline were great to have at meal times as they provide you with brilliant service and humour. The manager was chatty and often stopped to speak to each guest and see how they were. The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated with air con that was very much needed! The pool although on the small side was perfect for a dip, although the beach is a minutes walk away an is perfection! JJ is the beach chair man who rents out sunbeds an umbrellas, Cuz's fish shack is a must to visit, he serves up the best Marlin sandwiches and ice cold beer! For tours we went with Julian's snorkelling trip- Beach chair guys friend. He told us all about the island and took us swimming with the turtles and to see the sea wrecks. Food at the hotel was varied and delicious, being a fussy eater they also often catered for me if I disliked the choice that day. Over all the Island Inn is a beautiful hotel, with amazing staff, a perfect room, and a stunning beach. We will be back for sure! Thanks for having us x

Very comfortable hotel close to Bridgetown, with good facilities. Superb for seclusion out of season, but could feel crowded when busy. Suited us really well for the first visit to Barbados for one of us. Take the executive room and the use of the executive suite is well worth it! Loads of sights and activities, but it is best to hire a car o make the best of them. If you like jazz, get down to the Waterfront in Bridgetown on a Thursday evening - fantastic! If you like fish get to the Fish Fry at Oistins -Friday night is party night. If you like swimming with turtles, take a catamaran cruise on Stiletto.

I arrived in the evening and had to leave by 4am in the morning for an early flight. At first, I was a bit disappointed by the distance from the airport (~30 minute car ride). I wanted to get a decent hotel room right near to the airport, and this was further than I intended, which meant that I had to get up much earlier to make my flight.
However, I thoroughly enjoyed the room, room service, personal balcony, the sounds of the nearby ocean waves, and the spectacular view.
I stayed here one night, but I wished I had more time to explore the other amenities, and actually check out the beach!

A lovely place to stay, with real character and high quality surroundings.
About as different from a chain hotel as you can imagine, but with all the facilities including lovely large rooms with high ceilings, fast wifi, and excellent breakfast made specially for you by the chef.
As it's a B&B not a hotel, the staff live off-site so it does feel more like returning to your own house in the evening than coming back to a hotel, but the night light ensures that it doesn't feel empty.
