I’ve stayed here a lot since January 2024 and the pool was never available BUT the breakfast was great and so was the guy running it.

Spend the few more dollars and go somewere better. Only good partwas the front desk lady- she was great. The place is a dump. Not her fault.

Dirty, trash was not emptied. 1st room AC did not work and was hot andToilet would not flush in the first room, we moved rooms and the second rooms toilet did not flush, staff gave the plunger to us to take care of rather than a staff member....do not recommend

Customer service was terrible. Room keys were used and bent and would not work repeatedly. It seemed that it was a chore to get help at the front desk. They hung out in a back room and you had to wait around for them to decide to come out. Absolutely no room cleaning or towel change out. Would have left and rebooked elsewhere if I could have. Definitely do not recommend.

Customer service was awful! Our blow dryer didn’t work when we asked for another or access to a room with a functioning one, we were told that wasn’t possible. Also told we couldn’t use the public restrooms off the lobby. We had three in our room and two were getting ready. So when my husband asked for access he was told those are not public restrooms. He explained why he wanted to use the restroom and was told, “ if you’re traveling with two women you should know how to be patient”. At check out I was sharing my awful customer service. The man at the desk explained that I wasn’t welcome back…like I would ever book there again.

We've stayed at many Quality Inn's in the past, and usually find them to be very good values for a family of 4. But this one in Brighton fell short. The evening desk clerk must have had a tough day - no smile, no welcome, just a scowl throughout checkin. The microwave and fridge in the room didn't work, and while the same gentleman did come up to investigate the next morning, again, no smile or apology or promise to make it right. Stairs to the ground floor weren't very clean, and weren't cleaned at all in two days we stayed. The back door to the parking lot wasn't locked the first night, and the traffic noise was more than expected. Small things, to be sure. But after two days here, we stayed in Loveland at another Quality Inn (on Eisenhower) and it was great - clean, welcoming, with great breakfast area and staff, for the same price. As usual, it is the people who make the difference.

I came with two younger children later in the evening. Right when we walked into the building the only thing you could smell was weed. The lady that checked us in looked high and even when the key was given to us it smelled like weed. She ended up giving us a new room after the key card would not work several times. Very unprofessional. The room was also really out dated and the coffee maker in the room was not used due to the residue inside of it. Not clean and very un pleasant. pay the couple dollars and go down the road.

I usually try to find the positive in a hotel, but this one was a challenge. Check in was slow, our room wasn't ready, even tho it was 3:30. They said the delay was from waiting for the paint to dry, but it didn't smell of fresh paint in the room. Took about 45 minutes before we got in our room. They are remodeling the property, so the mess and clutter in the hall and stairway is understandable. The room was fine. The bed comfy. The door was hard to open and shut, wouldn't shut enough to slide the deadbolt. The biggest detractor is the hotel is next to a very busy road. Lots of truck traffic and jake brakes late into the evening. Breakfast was skimpy, but I don't pick a hotel for it's breakfast. There are plenty of cafes nearby. At checkout, the desk clerk said he couldn't give me a receipt because their price was less than Expedia's and they weren't allowed to let me see it. Huh? The property might be better when the remodeling is done, but we won't be back.

Wish I had known there was construction
The desk clerk failed to mention that the floor we were staying on was under construction, so when the elevator door opened, we were greeted by sheetrock dust and walls where the wallpaper had been torn off. Our room was clean, but had a pervasive smell of sheetrock dust. One of the beds was completely broken so my daughter had to sleep on the other side of the bed. Some of the trim around the wall/carpet was coming off.
