“Great stay”

Stayed here recently during the weekend of my family reunion. Since the Holiday Inn Express is known for business travel I was surprised to find it had a decent pool. There's also a decent pool with slides, located nearby. The location was great, near the hi-way so we could get on and get to other places easily and there are a few stores and restaurants conveniently located nearby. There is a breakfast bar each morning, but it's your standard powdered scrambled eggs, a meat, a variety of breads, cereals and fruits. Nothing too special, but nice to have included. There is no restaurant and no hotel bar, but they did allow a small group of us to bring in some beer and wine one evening and sit in the breakfast area. The room itself was fine. It's a new hotel, so everything still felt pretty new and modern.

“Very Nice!”

This is a new property, and was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, with hot and cold food. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available 24/7. The room was very clean, and roomy. Everything was just great. The staff was very nice, everyone was friendly and sincere. Shopping mall right next door. Looking forward to going back next month!

“Outstanding, with one exception”

This is a new hotel and the rooms are in fantastic condition. The materials and amenities are all top notch. The only reason I can't give it a perfect rating is because there appeared to be no way to cover / black out the window in the room. The drapes were fixed, immovable, and only covered approximately 20% of the window opening (a little on each side.) The entire windows was covered by a semi-transparent white cloth that let in nearly all of the parking lot light. I'm not sure what they were thinking with that, but everything else was completely perfect for the price and value.
