My second stay at the Novotel and another perfect time to be had. Lovely staff, well equipped, perfect distance to airport, shops and very very nice restaurants. The beach is a stones throw. Great for singles snd families alike.

Pros: Location great and views over the runway at Sydney airport were amazing. Good for a quick stay before departing the airport as it is also close.
Cons: Hotel in need of some refurbishment, but clean and not the worse.
Location: Plane watch while sitting on the beach.
Too many chief's and not enough Indians! reception staff good, but with the exception of the odd person in the restaurant and bar; both of whom were new the service leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant manager though it was OK to take a phone call while standing next to the table holding part of our dinner and the barman could crack a smile to save his live.

Cons: Minor refurbishment
Location: Nice walk along the Botany Bay beach front but other than that did not have time to find anything else to do in the area.
Comfortable, friendly hotel to stay over while waiting for our flight. Only critidism would be that the rooms are a little tired eg rusted bathroom door frame and broken balcony door lock.

Stayed for 2 nights at deluxe bay view room. The hotel is dated, old carpeting, not very clean, very poor hot water output, no free internet. However the location of the hotel is very good, close to the beach, eatery, grocery store (100 meters), staffs are friendly. I WOULD NOT go back to this hotel again !

This hotel smells bad, it needs a lot maintenance: really old carpet, furniture, poor room ilumiation and the staff is not very well prepared. This hotel is a bad deal.

Cons: The entire room.
Location: Superb location, close to airport.
As frequent visitors to this hotel we were very satisfied with our check in. Staff are delightful, however, very disappointed on this occasion with our room. Firstly we had to ask for towels as none were provided, then our tv wouldn't work so waited for over an hour to have maintenance fix it for us, then we discovered our balcony door didn't lock and had to have maintenance call again to fix this. There was mould covering the water marked and paint flaked ceilings. The shower was a mouldy mess and the pillows on the beds, were well, I don't even think I could call them pillows, just mashed up foam stuffed in a slip. Totally disappointed with this visit as this is our hotel of choice when we visit sydney....time to shop around!!!
