Cutting cornersPosted Sep 23, 2012
I chose this motel because I had an early morning flight and was in a budget.i arrived late and found my key in the safe. The key broke off in the lock and the following morning the owner suggested this might have been my fault. I didn't use any force at all. The key was the cheapest thin metal you could find. During the night I was thirsty and found a flask of water in the fridge. It was frozen solid so I took it out and out it on the bedside table. The next morning I discovered everything I had put there was soaked. The flask had a crack in the bottom and had leaked all over the place. I don't expect luxury on a budget but this place feels like they are cutting corners. It is also quite noisy with trucks reversing at an adjoining property all hours.

Awesome friendly motel, with excellent service.Posted Jul 16, 2012
Pros: Excellent friendly and professional service
Location: Great location close to the airport. Don't use Black and White Cabs tho - they rip you off!!
Awesome cosy motel. Excellent easy going service. Our cab ripped us off and the motelier was very unimpressed and had them on about it etc. Rooms were very clean, with all we needed in them. Breakfast included was fantastic - one less thing to think about with a family. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A great family stopoverPosted Jan 2, 2012
We are a family of five (three teenagers) and stayed here twice, before and after our flights. For a stopover or even a few days in Brisbane we couldn't have done better. The room was smallish for five but with a pull out bed as well as bunks and perfectly adequate. The pool was very welcome. The place looks a long way from Brisbane centre on the map but you can drive a mile or so and get the city cat (boat) right into town - a wonderful experience. Very convenient for the airport. The owners are friendly and helpful and continental breakfast was included. Would certainly stay again.

Convenient & quietPosted Nov 30, 2011
Location: Enjoyed Southbank & riding the Quickcat to the last stop.
Last time we stayed here it was very noisy, but that has changed. Only a few minutes to airport. A homely accommodation with an unispiring breakfast. OK for a one night stay. We arrived at 3am; arrangements for key collection went smoothly.

Very comfortable and would returnPosted Nov 21, 2011
Very handy position as we got off aircraft and picked up a rental car at 7pm. Only took us about 10 mins to get there and we were even able to get dinner served to our room at about 8 or 8.30pm that night. Thankyou for your service.
