“Clean and Convenient- Especially for Cruisers”

We stayed at this motel for one night as we were taking a cruise from Brisbane the next day. For cruising this is a wonderful place to stay as you can actually see the ship from the hotel's restaurant. If you do not have many bags (i.e. not travelling with children) you could even walk to the cruise terminal from the motel. The room was extremely clean and fresh milk was provided for tea and coffee. I asked for a travel cot through Expedia and one was provided without having to remind the staff. All the staff were very polite, and breakfast was delicious and good value. The reception staff had good suggestions as to things to do and places to eat locally, and Racecourse Road with a lot of shops and restaurants, plus the Cruise Terminal (with shops and cinema) and a River Cats terminal are within easy walking distance. We would stay again if cruising from Brisbane.

“Budget Keepers”

On arrival at the airport all I wanted was to get to my hotel for a shower. My cousin was suppose to pick me up, but forgot. So I naturally thought that I bus would go near the hotel being just off the motor way. No! I had to take a taxi. On arrival at the Motel the young guy at the reception was ever so helpful. I asked a million questions. I asked him questions like, "How do I get to Narang from here?" Where is the bus stop nearest to here? What time is tea? He was very helpful. As I was on a budget I had to have budget accomodation. The Hacienda is lovely if your on a budget. I found the room to be clean, tidy, so very comfortable, with lots of large towels. It didn't have a bar fridge, but I didn't want that. My preference is jug, coffee, tea, milk and lots of running water. Not a large menu to choose from, but great food. They have "Flybys" if you collect points like me. So I was very happy. I'd happily ao back there again next time I'm in Brisbane, but I think I'll hire a car. I wasted too much time on public transport.

“The best best western”

Very helpful at a time of need. I really needed a pet friendly hotel and when I asked they were happy for me to stay with my dog. They were very friendly staff and very helpful

“Good hotel near airport”

Good hotel 15 minute drive from Brisbane airport. Free car parking. We arrived about 2 hours before our check in time but were still ok to check in. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room itself was old fashioned looking but clean and had everything required. We only stayed 1 night, hotel 10 minute wlk to river and then ferry 25 minutes into centre of Brisbane. I would stay here again.

“Bad Choice”

Reception was friendly and helpful but the room reeked of mold and mildew.

“Subpar”

I found some curlys in the bath tub when I went to take a shower which was disgusting. The bed was uncomfortable and the doors seemed like they wouldn't keep someone out if they wanted to come in. We only stayed here because we had a flight leaving the next day but honestly there we're other hotels that seemed better. Plus there was no elevator and we had a lot of bags we had to lug up and down the stairs which was unfortunate. The staff was friendly and helpful and they did let us stow our bags in their back room since we had an evening flight and needed to check out by 10 am but the overall building was shabby.

“Close to airport for transfer.”

I chose this motel for a quick bus shuttle to Brisbane Airport. (10min away) It was 5min walk to a pier and we had a drink and watched a large cruise liner sail away which was good fun. The check in and check out desk motel staff were efficient and friendly but other staff and the motel itself was not at all good. It was very noisy. The bedside clock kept beeping. I finally turned it off despite wanting the alarm to go off to make sure I caught my flight. There were delivery trucks making lots of noise early in the morning plus lots of banging of metal fridge doors.The path outside our room was tiled so every time people walked past it was very noisy. Our room was made of plastered concrete blocks (hence 'hacienda'??) There were cracks in the walls but clean enough. The shower was small and in the toilet area with VERY little space to dry yourself. We had 2 friends visit and wanted to make them a cup of tea but had LOTS of trouble getting a motel staff member to get us an extra cup even though the room had 4 saucers but only 3 cups. The price we paid was far too much.

“dissapointed”

This is a 1 star motel not 3 stars. A very basic room. It is not close to the airport as the fare was 29.00 pus 3.00 to the driver for the amount he has to pay to leave the airport . The highest price I paid for any room in Australia and I had many good ones for far less.

“This hotel needs updating!”

A little shabby and tired decoration/furniture with pretty uncomfortable beds. It doesn't help being next to a busy main road and it was nosiy all night with traffic and people coming and going from the hotel.

“Better options are out there”

The bed felt like it was full of bed dugs, couldn't stop scatching all night. Obviously that meant no sleep before a long flight.
