Dated - Needs TLCPosted May 22, 2015
Whilst the location of the hotel was excellent, this place definitely needs some TLC stat!! We noticed that there are works planned (scaffolding) but couldn't tell if the inside is going to get a make over as well. Out of the two bathrooms, we found hair in the drain and the shower looking like in needed a serious clean. The kitchen utensils were old, corroded, and needs to be replaced. We had a pleasant stay and as the day of checking in approached, we finally got hold of the manager who responded to an email (after not responding to the previous one). We wouldn't recommend this place to others as there are many other options available in the city.

Pros: room facilities, location
Location: Central to Brisbane CBD
Good room facilities are ideal for a longer stay. Good central location makes a good base for a Brisbane visit. Would gladly recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone.

Cons: Some of the furniture in the living area a little worn - eg chairs need upholstering

Nice place to stayPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: It was in a good spot to use as a home base to explore Brisbane.
Cons: Chairs in my room were a little tired and worn, which was ok since I didn't really use them. I think they could stand to be redone or replaced.
Location: Take the free city bus to Queen street mall. There you will find places to eat, access to South Bank, and museums.
The manager Luci is very friendly and she went out of her way to help me and make sure I was comfortable. I noticed that she also went out of her way to assist other guests too. She is very kind hearted and was quick to respond to any requests that I had. She is the main reason I would recommend this accommodation to my friends. I stayed in a single apartment which was just the right size for me. I had my own balcony, which was a nice size, and it had a table and chairs. If it wasn't the rainy season I would have used it.

Posted Jan 4, 2015
