One night stop over

Pros: Beds, Restaurant
Cons: Bathroom, shower in particular!
Location: Close to train station to get to Suncorp stadium. Hard to find Bottle store or restaurants close by.
The room was adequate, nice comfy beds but the shower facility was terrible. The bathroom needed an upgrade to match the rest of the Hotel.

It is modern and clean but had shower/sink corner scum, and stained sheets. Not bad but attention to detail is missed slightly...

Rooms was to small to fit 4 people

We were 4 of us. Two adult and 2 children. And the size of the room was very small to move around. My 18 months old bumped into the corner furniture every now and than and got hurt many times. Would recommend not to offer that room with kids. Thanks Ajeshni

Pros: seems to have had a facelift since i last stayed.
Cons: dining staff need a fire lit under them and the breakfast buffet needs fixing along with the method used to keep food warmed. internet is V.expensive.
Location: its within a short walk of the central station and the city
the price from expedia was great compared to the motels normal pricing. the room was quite comfortable. some of the facilities were a little age worn but on the whole quite nice. the breakfast was on the dearer end for breakfast buffets for a motel in this price range but was on the bottom end of quality. the staff were no where to be seen and we had to tell them on numerous occasions that items had run out - the same item on several occasions. tables were not being cleared and the food that was in the buffet was cold/average quality/range.

Pros: Location and room
Location: Dining on the pier nearby
This hotel is ideally located in the centre. Lots of restaurants nearby (Pier ) The room is very well designed. The bathroom is big and convenient. Beds are comfortable. Big outdoor swimming pool (not heated). Fitness room well equiped. Nice lobby.

Pros: Position, view from my room, staff friendliness.
The staff were very friendly. They initially gave me the wrong room which still had the bed unmade and leftover food trays in the room The staff were most apologetic and gave me 2 free drink vouchers, which I was pleased about.

Worst stay ever!

Cons: Everything, especially customer service!
For what we paid my family and I were most disappointed with our stay. We were in the city for a wedding (which we informed the staff of before our stay) and I was appalled at the standard of service they offered. The rooms were not cleaned properly, they were not spacious for a family of 4, the "free wifi" is only in the lobby, the buffet breakfast had a great variety but the cooked food was not up to standard and the best the manager could do is offer us another room for half price. Customer service is obviously not a priority with the Novotel if the best their managers could come up with is for us to spend more money to get what we wanted out of our stay. I unfortunately an 100% happy with never recommending anyone to stay at this hotel.
