Our stayPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The comfortable beds and spacious areas. It is also very central to many wonderful things that Brisbane has to offer.
Cons: More milk in the fridge for the amount of people staying.
Location: Shopping, theatre, public transport, taxis, restaurants.
We all had a lovely time staying with you. It was central to shopping and close enough to the Lyric theatre where we went to see our show. We did get confused with your parking in respect to finding where we were to park. We were also a little disappointed in the fact that there were five of us staying in the room but there was not enough teas, coffees, sugars and milk for all of us. We had to ask at reception for more. The spaces were roomy and the beds very comfortable. Thank you for making our stay a good one. Suzi

Great locationPosted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Location of the hotel and and the balcony! Lovely to eat dinner looking out over the city.
Cons: Suitable tray or pan to put in the oven
Location: Queens mall- great shopping. South bank, nice outlook of Brisbane with ferris wheel and arts museums.
Right in the middle of the city, great location to shops and only a short walk to south bank. We loved the full kitchen in the room and the ability to make some of our meals- the only problem was they didn't have a suitable tray or pan to put in the oven! everything had a plastic handle- but that was a minor problem, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable room in an ideal location.Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Nice and close to shopping and public transport. Great city views.
Cons: The lift was very slow. One out of the two lifts that serviced my floor was out of service one day which exacerbated the problem.
Location: Close to anything you would need in central Brisbane.
Friendly, efficient staff. Cleaning staff were noisy in the mornings. Lovely room with easy to use temperature control.

Great hotel, great locationPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, secure, quiet.
Cons: The cable TV reception was very snowy at times. No tissues in bathroom or washing-up liquid for hand-washing dishes (supplied for dishwasher).
Location: Right in the heart of the CBD. Everything was an easy walk from the hotel.
The Oaks Charlotte Towers was very good value. My apartment was on the 36th floor and the view was spectacular. Its convenient location, right in the CBD, was a bonus.

Oaks on Charlotte is located very nicely in the CBD, close to Queens Street Mall and a short walk to central station. Staff are friendly and well presented. Provide a free luggage service if you have time to kill before or after you check in/out. Elevators are a little rattley and can be abit of a wait sometimes as there are only 2 elevators that go past level 5 in this 44 level building. I spent my first night in a standard 1 bedroom apartment. Bed was comfortable. Smallish balcony but had a nice view. I noticed a few black markings on the couch though. The dvd player in the room didnt work, aswell as the dishwasher as the power button had been jammed in. When trying to connect to the internet via the lan port there was no connectivity and when checking the lan port on the wall it would move in and out, so this was another thing that was damaged. After raising these few issues with the hotel staff they were more than helpful and offered to upgrade me to a room on the 41st floor. This wasn't my intention but very pleased with the outcome. So on my room on the 41st floor, large balcony with folding windows and an amazing view! The bedroom also had an amazing view too. This apartment was in alot better condition than the last and was very impressed. As for the internet at this hotel, honestly, it is extremely poor. At best getting around 2mbps on wifi and 5mpbs via ethernet. Charged at $18 a day for 'unlimited data' but speed is dropped after 1GB. Best to stay away.

Hotel was in a great location.Posted May 20, 2015
Hotel staff were helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean. Great place to stay if you want to go shopping as it is only a couple of streets from the queen street mall. Would stay here again.

Clean, tidy, average service, average facilitesPosted May 5, 2015
Pros: It was close to everything - cafes, shops etc.
Cons: I had to leave the hotel to find food at 9:30pm (when we had arrived exhausted) as there was no room service after 9pm
Overall good. The room was small but had everything you need. No robes or slippers and no bath in our room but these are wants and not needs for us.

Very handy to Queen St shoppingPosted Apr 29, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: position, staff
Cons: offer anyday of the week late checkout - not just Sundays. For some of us Sundays is a work day and our Day off is a Monday
Location: Shop, eat, southbank
We have stayed quite a few times at this hotel. It is always clean and the staff friendly. The only catch is that a late checkout costs $50 an hour after 11 am.....it quickly adds up to more than we paid for the whole night. We also wanted to leave our car parked there until 1pm and were charged an extra $25 for the two hour privilege.

The hotel was a very nice clean place to stay, the king bed was amazing!! But i was a little uoset with the size of the appartment considering the amount of the maoney that was paid to stay there. Other then the size everything else was perfect!
